				| Sorry I can't stick around.
I've mostly enjoyed our discussions here, and I would love to continue discussing all things Star Wars.

Unfortunately, I've been diagnosed with advanced, aggressive cancer. I'll likely be gone in a couple of weeks.

Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.

Zarn, I'm deeply saddened to read this. My uncle just passed from an advanced aggressive cancer on Friday. Monday they said 1-2 months. Thursday they said 1-2 weeks. Friday he was gone. I don't know what to say.

Thank you for your all your participation here. This site may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but the memory of your contributions here will be preserved. We're honored that you took the time to tell us goodbye.

You and your family are in my thoughts. Clear skies, Zarn.

 It's hard to accept this...despite Yoda's teachings.
Fight as long as you can. Wish you all the best all the way.

May the Force be with You.

I wanted to take a moment to share that I've been able to find a little closure with this. I have confirmed that Zarn transformed into the Force on August 19th 2019, in his home with his closest family by his side.

I discovered that back a few months before he passed, Zarn quietly edited all content out of a lot of his posts here. A lot of these posts had positive replies. Some of his excised text is captured in the quote box of replies. I can understand being concerned about the legacy you leave behind, but from what I've read of the posts he left and the ones he edited, I really can't fathom what his criteria was for determining which posts to edit and leave. But then again, I also can't imagine what it would be like to be in his position, to fight cancer and know the battle would be lost.

Despite the deleted post text, a lot of great content remains. This forum is better off for the five year he was with us. In reading his posts, I miss him.

 Zarn's Domain [Star Wars D6]

Luminous beings are we. RIP Zarn. The Force is with us.
