I've got a big big box full of blasphemy. _________________ __________________________________

Truth be told, at Origins a few years ago I bought a full set of Game Science dice (including two d10's to handle %s) just to have them. I also already had a set of D&D dice that I used in the "Dark Times" (2002-2005) when I was a player in a couple D&D 3.0/3.5 campaigns. And my 1981 D&D Basic boxed set still have the yellow D&D dice with the black grayon. So I don't have a box full of them, but I have 3 sets of D&D dice.
Having D&D dice is not blasphemy. But using them for Star Wars D6 is.

That's cool. But I was mostly just giving Gargoyle a hard time about the D100. A fundamental aspect of the D6 System is that it only needs the common everyday 6d's you get from raiding your family board games and Yatzee. You are not supposed to need to carry around 10d's or those other D&D dice to play D6. That's blasphemy! |
Why? Most other players of SW also play at least something else, so do more than likely have access to other dice. I have had situations call for a D12, d8, d10 and even d20 rolls at times (such as charting out which system on a ship gets shutdown when hit by ion cannons)..
Heck the D8 is the most used (other die) i have in games, when it comes to randomizing who gets shot by what in combat (especially when fighting stormies or thugs) cause usually i have a 8 player table, or 2d4-1 for the times i have only 7 there. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

garhkal, you have clearly exhibited evidence that you have completely gone over to the Dark side! Please set down your lightsaber and Jedi robes and depart quietly, before this gets ugly.
To paraphrase our beloved movies "Only a Sith deals in absolutes (and uses dice other than D6s for D6)!"
