Hi everyone.
I've been coming to the Pit off and on for a while, and was first introduced to this game by a fellow Pit Member about 3 years ago.
Since then I've been reading a lot of the official books and fan material, and really enjoying the game.
Recently Ive begun GM'ing my regular group in a new campaign using the SWD6 system, in the Rise of the Empire Era, and of course research has led me back here after a long absence.
So, this time around, instead of lurking, I figured I'd contribute. |

Wow I can't believe that I haven't introduced myself yet... I've been gaming since I was about 14, so that makes it, divided by 4, carry the one, multiple by 46.8769, oh yes... for a good 15 years now!!! I'm married with three kids, two daughters and a son, I've been married for seven years, to my lovely wife. I'm currently in Warner Robins GA, working for the government (I'm military) and I love Star Wars!!! _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. Hiya folks. New here, just found this place while doing a search for any d6 materials that may have been lying around. Figured I'd register and stick around.
About me I'm a college student studying Physics and Computer Science. I love science fiction, fantasy and roleplaying. I code and administer a multi-user dungeon based on Tolkien's works. I started roleplaying when I was in fourth grade (so 10 or 11) with none other than West End Games d6 Star Wars system. I played that straight through middle school and then switched to D&D for most of high school. Stopped pen and papering for most of the college due to lack of time. Decided to break out the old dice again though and run a d6 campaign for some of my friends and here I am.
Might try and get in on some of these play by post forums, I always seem to end up GMing whenever I play and would love to get in on some play action -- once I figure out how they work |

Hi Alcon. We've got plenty of D6 materials that you might not find in your searches. We can post links to some of the more useful things. Vong has been doing quite a lot on the programing side, but there's plenty more room for fresh blood if you want to put your skills at work here.
We've also got a couple of other projects going on that we'll hopefully have completed sometime before the apocalypse.
But if you're looking for real goodies, Gry's stat books are pretty much the jewel of the Rancor Pit (IMO). |
