				| well arent most rebels just volunteers anyway ? they wont get paid until the rebellion becomes a government and official military. not to mention that most rebel bases are probably financed by sympathisers who donate equipment and credits. _________________

				| Good point.
most rebels do it, for the satisfaction, some for revenge, but few for the pay. As to requisitioning, i would only give that option to those who have fully signed up as rebel members (EG HAVE RANK), not just 'freelancers' working with the rebellion.

				| Even volunteers still have needs and expenses. Also, not all rebels are volunteers, some are freelancers, others hired help. _________________

That's right. The Rebellion was made up of people acting on their own. Sure, some governments actually backed the Rebellion officially, but not nearly as many as those who provided clandestine support. I mean, if Han Solo or Lando Calrissian (both self-proclaimed scoundrels) can be made generals without going through the ranks first, then anyone and everyone could join the Alliance. Their funding was made possible through the constant efforts of Mon Mothma and others like her who were constantly recruiting and securing assistance.

My groups never actually got paid ever. In lieu of credits we were usually either allowed to keep whatever we captured from the Empire or were at least given choices of what we could keep from what was gained.

I like Volar's approach- making specialty items not necessarily readily available, but procurable. That gives the characters something to shoot for, but doesn't hand them the mission on a silver platter.
