The only thing that I think would make the book an asset would be to use it in the same way that they had NPCs listed in books like Fragments From the Rim. They had a backstory, stat list, and then some story hooks and adventure ideas.
Doing another book of official stats would be a bit much. If we were able to do some original stuff around a theme, that might be worthwhile IF it were well written. |

==>> BOOK PREMIERE <<==
Well, sorta... This is a half-hearted premiere of a heck-job. I'm talking about Starships Stats - Revised & Expanded here, the book that's been crammed in the freezer after an art embargo. Well, after a long while I wen't ahead and finished the book, with all the disputed art inside, for my own personal use. But now I see that others could also benefit from this book, and there's a demand for it. Since I can't publish the REAL book with all that disputed artwork, and since I don't really have the time nor the heart to re-edit the whole thing without those pictures, the result which you'll have to live with is the b@st@rd*:
STARSHIPS STATS - REVISED & EXPANDED (CENSORED EDITION)
http://krapz.free.fr/data/Starships_Stats_R&E_censored.pdf
This is the same book I have printed neatly here at home, but with a blank space where the censored artwork should be. I tried to replace the artwork with unused WEG material wherever possible, but you'll still find an obscene amount of blank spaces (and sometimes whole pages) mostly in the Space Transports chapter. It would be a crime to print such an abomination, but I guess it's in fair condition for keeping on your hard drive for consultation...
The final tally is a whopping 333 pages containing 592 starships!
Enjoy, and thanks to Krapou for hosting. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Well, I've always wanted to do one...
After hunting (pardon the pun) around in the Gry's very excellent Weapons Stats book, the Firearms section left me wanting, for a character I am creating.
Having said that, I am embarking on making a Firearms Suppliment. (Unless someone's already done one and I don't know about it?). |

Well, unless you're venturing into fan-created weaponry, I'm afraid there aren't any official firearms left to include in such a supplement. Other than that, good luck with the project. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I didn't expect anything official to have escaped your very thorough net Gry. |

Thanks Gry for making your censored document public. At least it has all of the stats that we need for any of our games.
I think this pretty much closes the book on what can possibly be done as far as stats. |

FIREARMS SUPPLEMENT NOW ONLINE
It sure isn't as pretty or professional-looking as the others in this thread - and I'm sure it will get a lot less use, but my Firearms Supplement is here.
Basically I was creating a character, that for several reasons including "just for something different", uses Firearms over Blasters (I can hear the purists cringing already ). What I wanted for him I couldn't find, so I decided to "share the wealth" and create a stack of Firearms (based on real world firearms) and stick them in a PDF. |

Great pdf!
There should be a PDW section with the P90 and the MP7 in it. _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots

It kind of reminds me of a bit of Empire Invades Earth. Just the conversions of real-world stuff into the D6 R&E rules. |

Well the pdf is a good idea (and I find the layout pretty good too 8) )
However I'm just not comfortable with the .45 pistol doing almost the same damage than the Barett .50BMG (if we add the +2D for scale). I'm not a gun expert, but I have worked on a firearms adaptation for GURPS and learned that the .50BMG ammo packs at least 10 times the energy of the .45 ammo (in fact is is more like 30 times)
Even the .50AE (the ammo of the Desert Eagle) is 10 times less powerfull than .50BMG.
I don't say that damage should be proportionnal to the muzzle energy, but it could help to find which gun should be more or less powerful
