Tech in training.
He *WAS* a... Sanitation Engeneer, Third Class amongst his people, and passed to us as he was considered expendable.
He has occasional bouts of depression about it, but has proven to be a *DARN* good fighter nonetheless. Just don't get him near blasters!!! (His species, being more water than your average "Meatbag", do not handle energy weapons well at all!!!).
Even had Zombies in one game, buried in garbage in a trash compactor... He turned part of himself into a bat, and played Wack-A-Mole. |

Virus. I'm personally betting on Sith Related experiment...
We got the cure, or part of it...
On the bright side, we have a salvage claim on a Golan III Defense Platform with a Hyperdrive!!! Just almost every electronical device is shorted out on it, and it has an insane R2 unit with a pulled powercell.
We got away clean (With the exception of my VaccSuit, which got dumped in garbage), and I got to use my Verti-Go Linethrower alot, so a good game all around. |

I've used virus infected zombies once. Nasty business that is.
The cool thing about this system is the ability to make new skills up. New specializations are very fun. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Here are my rules.
Dance(DEX)-this skillis used to dance Specializations: Any specific type of dance (tango, etc) or a culture's dance types (such as wookiee )
Special: Insted of simply rolling the dice and findind the number, you do actual moves.
Difficulty
Dropping simple (all moves change depending on what style of dance is being done)-10
standing simple-5
rising simple-10
jumping simple-10
dropping intersting-15
standing interesting-10
rising intersting-15
jumping interesting-20
dropping classy-20
standing classy-15
rising classy-20
jumping insane-30
any GMs can come up with individual moves depending on different types, like head spin for break dancing.
example:Mickey the trianii declares that he will try to do a jumping simple move followed by a dropping intersting move. he gets a 23 and jumps into the air, and falls back down almost pulling off his dropping move but falling on his butt instead. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

i mean, standing should be very easy at least... at least simple standing, I was thinking maybe drop the difficulty by 2-3 each or so... except for insane jumping
that's just my opinion though... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire. "

How's this? Normal dancers dance normally by doing 1 move per round. Tis changes when the person is really great, and can do everything very fast. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

I suppose so... although then that would get really drawn out... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire. "

Well if your dancing with someone else you get +1D for the combined action. But OK, rounds for danceing could be shorter than those for fighting. maybe 1-4 seconds _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

I didn't really mean that... Rolling to complete a dance could get really drawn out... especially if you're playing with a group, I mean combat can sometimes last the better part of an hour just rolling initiative, attacking and defense. When we used the dance skill, it was just one check for the time spent dancing during any particular song and that seemed to work fine... but, I do like the idea of setting difficulties for specific moves and stuff... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. With ya on that one...
All it takes is one bored Groundie...
"You want to dance, eh?" *Pulls out Blaster Pistol and starts shooting the ground around the dancer's feet* "DANCE, BOY!!! DANCE!!! Do dat Funky Wookiee!!!"
"I'm bored" can be *VERY* fearsome words. Much more fearsome than "Dark Jedi"... Not quite as "Taking Evasive Manouvers", but close. |

I like that! Maybe the funky wookiee should be a move of some sort... I can imagine some little ri'dar swinging their arms around like a violent maniac. "Uh! uh! uh! Shake that Fuzzy thang!"--DJ _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

Personally, if a player can come up with a valid skill of any kind that isn't on the skills list and should be, I'll add it. |
