Music only an Astromech would love... And a darn good reason never to buy an R5 Unit...
Those things will turn the volume up all the way to 11 if they get a chance!
Grumpy buggers...

Koensayr Heavy Assult Pod:
The Big Guns. This Pod includes a *BIG* power generator, extra Blaster Gas... And a Capital Scale Medium Turbolaser!!! It can only fire 20 Times with the Blaster Gas and Power Reserves for it, so make them count!!! This Pod is usually only held in reserve when Projectiles are in short supply, but Blaster Gas is plentiful, and some Techs have been known to Jury-Rig Anti-Starfighter Pods to a spare Turbolaser in extream measures, but this really isn't suggested (And Jury-Rig rules apply, BIG TIME!).
Koensayr O-Wing Heavy Assult Pod:
Scale: Capital
Fire Arc: Front
Crew: Pilot or Gunner
Skill: Capital ship gunnery: Turbolaser
Fire Control: 1D
Fire Rate: 1/2
Space Range: 3-15/35/75
Atmosphere Range: 6-30/70/150 km
Damage: 4D
Cost: 15,000 Credits

|
|
Koensayr Cargo Pods:
Another popular Pod, and the cheapest available. The Cargo Pod is simply a set of Strap-On Cargo Modules that extend around the wings (Thus are on top of, as well as underneath the wings.). They are found on Trade Guild O-Wings almost always.
In addition to this, there is a small addition of fuel, and an extra booster engine to help the ship deal with the extra weight, but the pods get in the way of the pilot's vision, and it is not a popular option with pilots. It does, however, help the O-Wing to pay for itself in matters more than just defending freighters, however...
Cargo Capacity: 15 Metric Tons
Cost: 2,500 Credits
Note: When the Cargo Pods are installed, the Pilot has a -2 penalty to all Starfighter Piloting rolls to "Dodge" shots due to impared vision. In addition, the rear Autoblaster only has the Rear Firearc available to him with the Pods installed. |

|
|
Mar Corel, of Corel & DuVal, was one of the test pilots for Koensayr with the O-Wing, due to his ability as a pilot as well as a designer. In exchange for his fine, and risky, work, he recieved the right to purchase the first run of O-Wings, and had the ability to design his own Combat Pod for the craft.
The Pod's weapon, knicknamed the "Snub-Nosed 38" by Mr. DuVal, was originally a primary weapon found on an ancient Xim The Despot Cruiser that Corel found "Somewhere". It was a huge weapon, capable of smashing down any and all comers, but was too massive and size intensive for use on smaller ships at the time. Fast forward untold years, and add in modern technology, and it's size and weight decrease signifigantly!
However, it never sold to Capital Ships, but, with some modification, as well as reducing the barrel length, it could easily fit (Barely), under the O-Wing, making it a perfect idea for a Heavy Weapon System. Surprisingly, this system is selling with Civilian Organizations, which can't legally buy the Turbolaser Pod, as that is a Military-Only Sale Item.
Corel & DuVal HV-380 380mm Mass Driver O-Wing Pod:
Skill: Starship Gunnery: Mass Driver
Fire Rate: 1/2
Fire Control: 4D
Space Range: 1-3/12/25
Atmosphere Range: 100-300/1.2/2.5 km
Damage: 4D Capital
Cost: 10,500 Credits
Ammo: 10 Shots
Ammo Cost: 100/100 Shots |

|
|
Koensayr ECM Pod:
A Military-Only Pod, the ECM Pod is jammed with the newest and most powerful in Electronic Counter-Measure Technology!!!
It comprises:
A Sensor Jammer that renders all Starfighter-Scale Enemy Targeting Systems within 40 Spacial Units useless. (No bonus from Fire Control is available to any and all Starfighter Vessels, and this includes Skipray Blastboats!).
A Communication Jammer that will render *ANY* communication except on a very narrow and constantly changing band preventing enemy planning and communication (It jams all radio and hyperspace communication within 50 spacial units).
A Decoy System that allows the O-Wing to impersonate any craft Corvette Size or smaller, and can be used to hide Starfighters (But not Freighters!) with it as well, giving off the size, mass, colour, and shape of the chosen vessel on sensors within 100 Spacial Units (Anyone looking out the window, however, will see a bunch of Starfighters. But how often do Sensor Techs believe the Mk. I Eyeball?).
All yours for 35,000 Credits!!!
/*/ Mar Corel /*/ (Corellia: 6774/5117/0988): In addition to regular static, you can also have the Communications Jammer overwhelm your enemies with any audio/visual transmission. I personally suggest Huttese Porn Holos for Visuals, and Verpine Chamber Music for Audio. But only against Pirates and Imperials... They're too inhumane for anyone else. |

Cool
I had an imperial character thatwas working towards having a ship that did all of that jamming and everything... Unfortunately the campaign petered out before the ship was finished |

This is mainly due to my GM. He classes each Used Ship by a 1-10 rating, 1 being "Lay your bets!!! Does this ship even FLY???" to 10 being "Ummmmm... Sir... I know I'm just a Customs Official, but... Can you take a picture of me in front of your ship?". Internal and External are different (And we've had a few ships that looked externally, but inside... UGH!!!).
Well... The Broken Arrow was a External 3/Internal 1. There were spraypainted alien slurs and curses everywhere (Some of which could not even be translated!), the equipment never did work right, ect. ect. ect.
And the entertainment system consisted of a pocket behind one of the seats that contained magazines...
Well... One Magazine...
"Hot Hutts". Hutt Porn.
We used it to torture Imperial Officers. Very Entertaining. |

It's an evil and dangerous form of torture that even the Empire banned.
And one of the reasons that Mar Corel has a Death Mark in the Corporate Sector...
Although the incident where he dumped his load into a High-Ranking Corporate Officer's swimming pool and house might have had something to do with it...
He overreacted of course... It's not like the radioactive material would render the land TOTALLY inhospitable... Only for the next few hundred years...
Then there was the time he introduced the CSA to Mass Drivers by using four 20mm Mass Drivers against an Armoured Assult Team w/APC...
And then there was the shipment of BlasTech StarSlasher Carbines that he supplied Resistance Forces at almost cost prices...
Of course, it might have been the 1000+ km high speed chase through the streets of Kourdan that caused more than 25 million credits in public property damage alone (Not even counting the PRIVATE property damage)...
It couldn't have been for landing on that Limo... Even the driver wasn't in it at the time...
It should be noted that you can't get Corel & DuVal Items in the Corporate Sector... |

|
|
Koensayr MIP:
"Marine Insertion Pod" is probably the most hated pod in the O-Wing Arsenal... It is two large warheads that are designed to be fired at either docking bays, or large transparisteel windows on capital ships, with a penetration system to get through the particle shields and weakened parts of the hull, and unload one marine each into the belly of the beast for initial assult against the ship in question, to allow a boarding shuttle to get a better chance of getting into the ship without being attacked during the boarding, or just as the troops are unloading from the craft (The two points where the forces are at their most vulnerable.).
Pilots hate them because they take up room that could be used for better and more potent weapons systems, and the fact that they have to listen to the marines whine and moan about being in the pods. The marines hate them because the pods are crampt, uncontrolable, on the way to attack a prepared force with few fellows, and they have to be put in the hands of those arrogant flyboys. Commanders hate them because they don't usually work, are expensive, and only work with a force that doesn't believe that anyone would truely be stupid enough to use them.
Pirates, however, have a tendency of using them against bridges of large freighters to great effect, however.
(For a visual reference, MIPs look like metal and high-tech Port-A-Potties. They also function as reduced capacity Port-A-Potties, which they're mostly used as in Flight Bays.).
MIP:
Scale: Capital
Skill: Missile Weapons: MIPs
Fire Control: 2D
Space Range: 2-12/30/60
Atmosphere Range: 4-24/60/120 km
Damage: N/A (Unless fired against Starfighters, then 3D Capital Scale... Not to mention one pissed off Marine!). |
