What makes a book official? Besides the obvious answer of Lucasarts approving it. Why not add elements to bios and backstories that are made up and just annotate them as non-official? If the material is plausible, it seems to me it would work without problem.

I got the complete locations for christmas, great book. So if you want to, we can go ahead and start the planets section , that's fine with me . First we need to compile a list of the planets needed and then we can go from there like we did with characters.

Ok, here we go, the planets and some specific locations (I don't know what's the purpose of listing these locations, but what the heck):

-Coruscant (Palpatine's quarters, senate, Jedi temple, Padmé's apartment, Outlander Club, Dexter's Diner)
-Naboo (Lake Country, Padmé's home?)
-Tatooine (Tusken camp, Lars homestead)
-Kamino (Tipoca City, clone facilities)
-Geonosis (Droid factory, arena, Dooku's hangar, asteroid field)

Anything else is slightly EU (Bogden, Antion...)

On the officiality issue, we could possibly make up some info, and in the write-ups we put the added unofficial info in italics or semething.....

Do you think it's not important to list the locations? I would like to include a few EU planets like bogden, ansion and a few others. I will list them later today, but if you want to stick with just the ones you see in the movie, that's fine to. Remember I am a newbie when it comes to sourcebooks.

Well, I've never created an original sourcebook before either, only compilations of exiting materials. Which is why I want YOU to own this project, otherwise it has a chance of becoming simply a compilation of stats and info of Ep2 stuff.

I think it'd be neat to include these other planets, even if their entries are quite small.

Gry-- That's what I was thinking. Use italics for the added material. The canon material works well by itself, but added with the new stuff and BAM! it gets kicked up a notch.

And, whatever information that is available for planets is good stuff, big or small. I like to have the stat blocks for them to give a rough outline, but for the rest of it, I can make settlements and cities up.

I dont want to sound ignorant but this is OUR sourcebook, you have done just as much work on this as I have if not more and you deserve the credit to,now moving on. I'll do Ansion first. I appreciate your help and input. That sounds great, I would like to do a layout of Ansion's capital let me get you some information and we can go from their. That's if youre interested.

Of course it's our book, but someone has to be in charge of it, and that someone is you.

I think I'll start making the planet's stats block, if you don't mind.

I just did them now, very quickly. It was easy because either WEG or Wizards had already done them, and Wizards copied their planet stats block directly from WEG. I just had to adapt a few things....

Hello all, I just wanted to post saying that internet here at work is going to be shutdown for updates, so it will be tommorrow from home till I get to post again.
