I previously wrote that the skill of those being commanded is sufficiently represented by the base skill of the combined action before the bonus is applied. I concede that this is not sufficient, because in the RAW the character with the highest relevant skill is the one who rolls. I suggest averaging the skill ratings of those involved to find the unmodified base skill. Someone who knows next to nothing about speeder repair will only slow down the rest of the work, but with enough people on a task such as building a structure, the bonus dice would outweigh lack of skill. GM's would have to use common sense of course - 100 people working together to fix a single droid for instance would get in each other's way and be pretty impractical. |

Yeah, you make a good point.
I suppose it comes down to how the GM interprets what the command bonus represents. I rather think of it as people helping out in the specifoc way that they are directed to according to their capabilities. So the most skillex guy would do the ulk of the work, and the less skilled characters would contibute by performing necessary tasks that kept them out of the way. For example, new guy could be responsible for keeping the tools and parts organized, thus easing the process for those with hands on the project. |

Max number of participants might be based off of scale. You can have more people work on a walker then on a speeder, they have more room to fill.
Whether your doing volley fire or repairing something, your limited to your number of bodies that can fit in the space to do the work. |

Very true. Several modules i have wrote, specify in certain spots how many additional people can be "Coordinated" for certain actions, like information scanning (investigations) comp hacking (by number of terminals) etc. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
