I think lightning varies too much to be given a specific damage code. I'd just base it on the power of the storm or whatever I feel like. Say, 2D for a small one, up to 8D for big ones. Scale varries. |

Then perhaps it could even be weak enough to only do speeder scale, and strong enough to do a capital scale? |

Yes, as cars can be unaffected, but Skyhooks can be taken down, depending on the strength of the lightning. |

Like i did with the "SPID" missile. The more flakes and/or the more potent the weather they were flying into, the stronger the lightning bolt they 'summoned' onto themselves. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I would think that a ship works the same as a Faraday Cage. So the people inside would be completely safe. Only if there is a massive lightning strike, then maybe it could make a little damage to the systems... I would only make it ion damage and thats it, the people inside should be completely save. |

Interesting thread. I'd tend to view things as most here seem to: that the ship would be like most modern planes and be protected. With the exception of a major storm where the GM might use it for dramatic purposes. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
