Skills listed on the template are skills that a player can put their starting dice in. So for the Storm Trooper, you wouldn't be getting Pickpocket at 4D+2, since it's not on the list.
For the most part they're a selection of "appropriate skills" for a character with that template. _________________ RR

Yep. All those skills listed under the template's attributes are those the designers felt the template should already know. And though you can always default to attribute rolls for skills NOT known, some play it that there are some skills which will be heavily penalized if the skill is NOT known. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
