2nd Edition Form Fillable PDF

Just wanted to share the PDF that I threw together last night; I've always been a fan of the old 2e character sheets. Seeing as there was an excellently formatted copy on this site and having always wanted a form-fillable PDF version of that sheet, I decided to take the liberty to crisp up those more static entries on the sheet, so here it is!

EDIT: Included 2nd link for 8pt font char sheet.

The font does seem too small when i fill it out. I vote bump it up.

I really like it, benjihad! Will have to see how it looks printed out, to see whether it's too small for my newly struggling eyes. I do like that you can fit a lot of skills underneath each attribute.

Added a link in my original post for an 8pt font version of the char sheet since it was probably necessary. Also leaving the 6pt version up since I'm a fan of being able to fit more text on the page! 8)

[s]As for a file prompt box for the portrait, that would've pretty cool to do that, but I think it's a security issue being able to access the hard disk from a PDF. If there's a way, I'll look into it! AFAIK though, it's not possible.[/s] I've always just done the old photocopy/scotch tape method, that and I'm big a fan of having my players draw their own portraits!

Also please feel free to distribute, don't know if there's a cap on Dropbox sharing on personal accounts or not, but the more help the better.

Hey Benjihad, it looks great.

One minor constructive criticism: It would have been nice to fill in the weapon stats on the bottom of the sheet as well.

You're right, I'll take a look at it again later this week.

I had form-fillable spots in those blanks, but removed them with the assumption that they were blanks that changed more often and that everyone has PERFECT handwriting! Of course this is not the case and duh, one could just print off another copy with the changed equip/stats/values/etc.

I was very excited when I found this but was disappointed when I got to actually fill it out, a couple of things make it, unfortunatly, useless for what I want it for. (building characters for my campaign)

the height field is only 2 characters, it needs more like 6 (1.87 m)


Do away with the Quote field. I've never found it useful. If you're doing it right, the connections with other characters field is useless as well--you need either 60x more or none.

The Attributes fields cannot be populated

No spot for force powers.
