Cheshire, I followed your suggestion in the other thread about posting the scans. Now that I'm in a position to do so, I can provide you with the scene from Leviathan of Corbos that I was asking you about.

Streen blows away baby Leviathans

As you can see in the top and left panel, Streen seemed to be using the Force to generate gusts of wind from his hands to blow away the baby Leviathans. Is that an application of Force whirlwind?

I'm going to say that's a 'no.' It looks like he's using a power that we don't have any rules for. The Force Whirlwind was pretty distinctively a matter of creating a whirlwind that buffeted the person in a mini-tornado. Not so much a matter of shooting the gusts from the Jedi's hands.

There are a lot of things that are done in the comics that have never been fleshed out in terms of any rules, whether d20 or D6.

Thanks, cheshire. And I hear what you said about displays of the Force in the comics that haven't been fleshed out in RPG rules. The same thing goes for some of the the things in the novels.

Ive seen some write ups but I really want to see what the two formost experts on the D6 System had to say

Mandalorian Crusader

Know 2D
Mech 2D+1 Jetpack operation 3D
Per 2D
Str 3D Brawling 4D
Tech 2D First aid 4D

Equpment:

Mandalorian Neo-Crusader Soldier
Dex 2D+2 Blaster 3D+1, Brawling parry 3D, Melee 3D, Melee parry 3D
Know 2D
Mech 2D+1
Per 2D
Str 2D+2 Brawling 3D

Equipment:
Neo-Crusader light armor, jet pack, sheild generator gauntlet upgrade, blaster rifle, mace, 2 frag grenades, medpack.

Mandalorian Neo-Crusader Shock Trooper
Dex 3D Blaster 4D+2, Melee weapons 4D+1,

These look a little bit wimpy to me, to be honest. The shock trooper is really the only one with any umph behind him. Of course, the others were just recruits that the Mandalorians on conquered planets.

Anyway, make of that what you will. And if anyone notices places where I messed up, then please let me know.

Wahoo... my 1,000th post!

Have you ever thought of doing a massive Galaxy Guide with every one of the Conversions that you've done Gry and Cheshire?

That would be a completely impractical book. Much better to have it divided in 8 individual books or so.

It was one of the things we discussed when they started coming out with SAGA books. The problem with doing a book like that is that someone would have to go back in and re-edit the book every other month and insert items in the middle (because everything is alphabetical), and that makes a really big formatting mess. Also, if you did a table of contents with each one, then that would make an bigger mess, since all of the page numbers would change every other month.

It's a great idea to have them all together, but it just can't be done on a staff of two, and even then Gry is the only one with the editing trianing and software to make it look nice.

From my understanding, the crusaders were the actual mandolorians, and the neo crusaders were recruits of their conquest. So maybe pump up the standard crusaders just a tad.

I can certainly revisit these stats. I've been doing it a bit longer now, and I could probably do a better job at this point. I'll give it a shot later.

This is a project that I still plan on getting back to. However, I think it's important to get caught up in the conversion work that we're doing now. I'm still slowly but steadily working on Scavenger's Guide to Droids.

Really, getting a copy of Cynabar's Fantastic Technology is going to be a really good place to start. I haven't looked at the fluff text in the Scavenger's book, but really, Cynabar's is much better for rules and upgrades on droids.

You can find it cheap on Amazon. Lowest price is $7.50
