HA-057 "Hopper-S" Utility VTOL
A yard-runner airspeeder with four lift pods and a tall dorsal spine that hides winches and power couplers. The cockpit sits high for pad visibility; the stub wings are really intake housings with dust shutters. Designed for vertical hover and crab-walks, the Hopper ferries cargo slings between factory roofs, starport lots, and scrapyard stacks where bigger craft can’t maneuver. Most carry stenciled hazard glyphs and a toolbox strapped behind the pilot’s seat.

Story hook. At the Karthax ship-breakers, someone is stealing “waste” components—high-grade shield parts tagged as scrap. The foreman hires the PCs to fly a Hopper on the night shift and spot the leak. A ghost transponder lures them into a canyon of derelict hulls where pirates use mag-grapples to snag loads mid-air. The crew must hover-dance between carcasses, cut the grapples with vibro-saws, and chase the thieves to a hidden barge. If they capture the barge, they’ll find invoices proving an Imperial quartermaster is laundering the thefts. |

Where did this and the other new vehicles come from? Are these home brews? The closest thing this specific vehicle resembles is that one used on Naboo in the Clone Wars episodes dealing with the Blue Shadow Virus.
The other vehicle that might be familiar is the food delivery one, but that was a truck-like vehicle, not a speeder. And that vehicle came from the Heir to the Jedi novel. |

Just stats I compiled based on images I found in a search that I liked. Typically when I post stuff, if it comes from lore or legends I cite it. _________________ Don Diestler
