Granakk
Type: Bounty Hunter
Species: Wookiee
Age: 142
Height: 2.25 m
Weight: 130 kg
Physical Description: Granakk stands over seven feet tall, her massive frame sheathed in thick, matted brown fur streaked with ash-gray along her shoulders and forearms. Her shoulders are broad and muscular, tapering to powerful arms that end in hands tipped with retractable black claws—each blade etched with tiny notches marking past kills. Across her left cheek and muzzle runs a pale, jagged scar from ear to jaw, a trophy of a close-quarters duel that left her mate dead at her feet.
Her yellow eyes burn with a feral intensity beneath a heavy brow ridge, and the fur around her eyes is worn thin—evidence of many nights spent peering through darkness on long hunts. A series of shallow gouges scars her right forearm, each one the result of shattered bone and later-removed shrapnel after a Separatist ambush on a mining convoy.
Granakk’s torso bears the faint outline of crude chest armor—charred at one corner from a fusion-cutter blast—over a patched, weather-beaten battle vest. Thick leather straps crisscross her chest, supporting a bandolier of heavy cartridge belts and a sheathed vibro-mace at her hip. Her legs are corded with sinew, ending in clawed feet that leave deep gouges in metal decking when she stalks a target.
When she moves, it is with a deliberate slowness—each stride measured, each footfall silent, revealing the predator beneath the Wookiee exterior. Even in total darkness, those keen eyes perceive every flicker of movement and every distant sound. Her presence fills a room before she steps inside, a living testament to raw strength honed by years of exile and relentless pursuit.

Background
Born in one of Kashyyyk’s shadowed canopy cities, Granakk was the eldest daughter of a prominent warrior clan sworn to protect an ISB informant. When a covert strike against Separatist remnants went catastrophically wrong—reports say she slew her own mate in a fit of jealous rage—her life debt to clan and comrade shattered. Shamed and declared madclaw, she was formally exiled, left to wander the galaxy.
Adrift among smugglers and mercenaries, Granakk discovered a grim aptitude for bounty hunting. She purchased and overhauled a battered YT-1300, christening it the Reckoning, and outfitted it for solo, high-risk contracts. Her first major job—capturing a double-crossing Imperial informant—ended in her own brief imprisonment, but she escaped in mid-transfer and still collected the bounty, carving her legend among underworld circles.
Over the decades, Granakk has tracked criminals through Hutt cartel strongholds, Outer Rim wastelands, and core-world underbellies. She keeps no lasting alliances, but a network of informants—paid in credsticks or favors—feeds her leads. Despite rumors that she once butchered an entire gang to send a message, some say she honors a silent code: she never betrays those who earn her grudging respect.
Personality
Granakk is a study in contrasts: outwardly a silent predator, yet inwardly tormented by guilt and shame. She trusts no one fully, but will grudgingly acknowledge competence—even loyalty—in her few associates. She rarely laughs, but those who earn her respect glimpse a dry, gruff humor beneath the scars.
Driven by a need to prove her worth and cleanse her dishonor, she accepts contracts others deem too vicious or hopeless. In the field, she is patient and methodical, preferring ambush and subterfuge over brute force—yet once her rage ignites, she becomes a whirlwind of fangs and claws. Afterwards, she retreats into solitude, haunted by memory and self-loathing.
Granakk treasures two things above all: the integrity of her word and the sanctity of life debt. If she promises protection, she will deliver it—even at the cost of her own life. And though she denies it, she yearns for a chance at redemption among her people—or at least a final, honorable death in battle.
Objectives
-- Redemption Contract: Find a quest or cause that can restore her name among the Wookiees—or die trying.
-- Final Reckoning: Uncover who manipulated her clan’s operations on Kashyyyk and avenge the truth behind her exile.
