I have only seen the first two episodes, but it's been fun so far! Very much has a Goonies vibe. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Very peculiar ending. Almost feels like they wanted to simultaneously leave a second season open as a possibility, and plausibly deny that they had done that.
Having expended a great deal of time and effort on homebrewing an explanation for how Republic credits worked during, just before, and just after the Clone Wars, these last few episodes of this show have got me...very distracted but I guess I should be glad I'm not an actual economist. _________________ Running a Clone Wars Republic Intelligence campaign (Spring 2022-present) |

The sheer amount of credits they talked about was kinda crazy, IMHO.
Each vault has what appears to be millions of credits, and there are 1,139 vaults just on At Attin?!? _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

My son and I finally finished this series. Skeleton Crew wasn't great but it wasn't too bad overall. It seemed to be a little better than Ashoka and The Acolyte. It had a few hokey parts.
I really loved the pirate droid character, SM-33. Disney has done a great job with some droids: K2, L3, and now 33 are all fantastic characters. The Shistavanen pirate captain looked cool - He was well-realized. I also enjoyed the owl-like astronomer character design.
The Barrier was neat, but I didn't catch why the At Attin and the other mints were hidden. If it was for security back in the pre-Empire Republic, did Palpatine never find out about them in the time of the Empire? The Supervisor revealed that the last message they got from the Republic was about the Jedi Rebellion at the end of the Clone Wars, but the Galactic Empire was declared at the same time Palpatine made the alleged Jedi Rebellion public. They just got the message and then nothing else? Maybe someone in the Republic bureaucracy resisted compliance to the new fascist regime when it took over and deleted all knowledge of At Attin in the Empire, successfully cutting it off from the Empire?
No Republic ships came to pick up minted dataries in 30 years and the citizens didn't think anything was wrong? And why were Republic dataries be so valuable out in the galaxy anyway? Wouldn't they only be valuable to credit collectors? Or are they made of a precious metal so they could be melted down? _________________ *

I haven't watched it, and this might be common knowledge to those who have (or who followed it), but SM-33 seems to be a play on words for Smee - Captain Hook's first mate. _________________ "The internet is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural." - Sheev Zuckerberg |
