I'm getting ready to start running a new campaign and one of the NPCs the players will be dealing with a lot is going to have a unique vessel. There are a great many reasons for this in character but one of the main reasons that I have as a game master for this vessel is that I need the players to get around without having their own ship but I also want to motivate them to pull together whatever funds they have and get a new ship as fast as possible.

The vessel in question is testimant to how multipurpose Sienar systems parts are and is a fusion of a basic TIE fighter and a TIE crawler (Century tank). There will be a standard TIE cockpit at one end, a body like a TIE Lone Scout A (without the hump) and a TIE crawler cockpit at the other end. The crawlers treds will take the place of the normal TIE solar array wings but they will be covered in the solar arrays on the outside facing.

The owner will happily describe the vehicle as such: "In terms of tanks, it is the best starfighter and in terms of starfighters it is the best tank."

This is the stat block I've come up with but any suggestions on issues (or perhaps the odd benefit) that might crop up from such an unlikely fusion of vehicles would be welcome.

How many 'passengers, if paying" can it carry? And for how long?

Given that TIE fighters don't have life support systems (the TIE pilot flight suit does that) and Century tanks also doesn't have any (because it operates in atmosphere) I have concluded that the hybrid only has minimal life support. It can provide a breathable atmosphere and I have assumed that the consumables includes food but there isn't really any way of dealing with waste products if you're not wearing a suit.

So realistically unsuited passengers can be carried for about a day.

If everyone has their own suit then up to four passengers but every passenger reduces how long the consumables will last by one day.

Obviously passengers that don't consume food or air like droids don't count.
