I'm losing my mind here -

Wasn't there a conversion formula between either 1E and 2E, or 2E and 2ERE for converting cargo capacity to cargo volume? I know I've seen it but that game function quietly went away between the different editions of SWRPG.

I also noticed that the 2E edition of Tramp Freighters does not include a fuel consumption chart, where 1E does.

Can anyone explain these changes or the reason for them?

The conversion rate is found in Pirates and Privateers, IIRC, and was 100 cubic meters per 50 metric tons.

The 1E fuel consumption rules were likely removed for being a bit too crunchy, dragging down the pace of the story.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Commenting for future bookkeeping, it's actually in Far Orbit, page 22.

Ah. Well, if something could be said to be in the same book while being in different books, it would be found in Pirates & Privateers / The Far Orbit Project.

LOL, just tape the two books together and call it The Pirates & Privateers Project.
