				| thanks a lot! but i still need some "ithorian" equipment...
maybe someone know a scource for pics of an herdship?

maybe i´m gona make some "weapons" which just stun and work with the power of the nature? greneades which accelerate the groth of plants to stop enemys, comunication devices to give commands to animals?

i start a campaign with a emphasis on the planet ithor(surprise
). the "bad" guys thread to destroy the ecological system and so they will need some ancient weapons to defend it.

				| I recommend you get "Classic Adventures - Volume II", as there's a whole part of an adventure that takes place in the herdship Bazaar. There are many bits of info and some nice maps of the ship. I believe you can still download it at the "PDF-Sharing" thread, in Tools.
A granade that makes plant grow to stop enemies? I find that a bit corny, but hey, it's your adventure. Defintly stun weapons and maybe poison darts extracted from plants. Their farmacology is certainly very advanced. They will have flesh-eating plants guarding special places, Momaw Nadon had one in Mos Eisley... It was a:

 Vesuvague Hanging Tree
 DEXTERITY 5D+1
 PERCEPTION 2D
 STRENGTH 4D+2
 Special Abilities:
 Vines: 4D+2 Damage
 Digestive Juices: 6D+1 Damage

 Very imaginative! I like it.
How about spore pods which when thrown shatter upon impact forcibly releasing barbed seeds? ...or a stone in a tube (like a flashlight) which gives off an invisible, but temporarily blinding (6-STR days) radiation unless special goggles are worn? - which, of course, are only manufactured for Ithorians ...or a metal poison much worse than Mercury which is lethal and put into grenades? ...or a vine, which looks just like any other vine, but when touched constricts around the victim releasing acid? The Ithorians use it as a booby trap because the acid will eat through metal and plastic, but not leather.

				| I have a pacifist Ithorian jedi character hiding out on Yavin IV for my current troopers game. I like the idea of having more botanical technology.
Maybe he's got a vine-whip thing instead of a lightsaber, which serves to disarm / entangle opponents rather than hurt them?

You may also want to check out the Ho'Dins... they're big into 'organic' technology.

				| Yeah, I kind of expect they'd have grenades that release various botanical bioweapons sorta like the Bothan's stun spore grenades.
Grenades that make plants grow seems a little to hi fantasy for Starwars but do what you like. I'd have grenades that release stun spores, blinding gas, sticky sap that entangles like a stohki sticks spray.

I wouldn't hesitate to give them perfectly normal blasters too (that are set on stun, except against droids), and lots of scientific equipment such as portable Sensor packs and handheld life form scanners.

				| i admit that my grenades aren`t really star wars-style... better forget this idea.
