PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Vin is fairly tall and is extremely well-conditioned. He is fairly strong and well-built. BACKGROUND: Vin Darkmauler spent the first nineteen years of his life in the care and tutelage of a large but little-known sect of assassins-for-hire inhabiting a high-gravity world in the heart of Sith space. This sect, to those very few even aware of its existence, was known as Exploding Fist. His every waking moment was spent honing his mind and body into a living, breathing weapon. Vin was taught the use of a myriad of weapons of every style, from archaic projectile weapons to missile and laser weapons. Vin excelled at one-on-one combat, especially with empty-hand techniques and with bladed weapons. This particular sect had learned long ago how to tap into an individual’s life force, or ka, to produce some extraordinary effects. Vin was a natural in this as well and learned quite quickly, advancing rapidly past his fellow students—even most of the advanced Apprentices. He was so advanced, in fact, that he began to be sent on solo missions when he was fifteen, an historical accomplishment among his people. Vin was well-schooled in the art of disguising himself, a vital skill in his profession, and one that further led to his early solo career. Early on, as many of the Brethren do, Vin had a Memory Implant installed, giving him a vast storehouse of information covering a number of areas to include planetary systems, a bit of a languages base, even information on how to survive in hostile environments and situations.

Vin’s brilliant career was only heightened by the interference of the Sith. At a time when great upheaval was rocking the very fabric of the entire Empire, the Exploding Fist was utilized quite often as Sith lordlings vied for dominance within the Empire. His ability to disguise himself was of utmost importance during such missions, where one wrong step meant a very public and painful death.

During one such mission, his life took a drastic change. Although quite gifted, Vin was still young. He was sent to kill an important advisor to one of the many Sith Lords. Vin had done his homework, sliced the appropriate systems to locate his target, and made his way to make the kill. However, when he entered the room his target was reported to be located, he was surprised to find himself face to face with none other than the Darth Malikus himself. The Sith Lord congratulated the young assassin on penetrating so far into his stronghold, and began telling him about the potential the Sith could sense in him. Puzzled, Vin did not try to escape, but continued to listen as Malikus spun him a tale of possible power, wealth, and glory.

Although not really interested in power or wealth, Vin had been brought up to believe in the importance of honor and glory, for the more flourish one used for the kill, or the more easily the assassin escaped detection, provided him with glory and rank amongst his brethren. Knowing that learning the skills this Sith Lord was offering would allow him to achieve greater glory than perhaps even the Grand Master, Vin accepted the offer to become Malikus’ apprentice.

A whole galaxy was opened to the young man, who spent the next two years studying under Darth Malikus. He studied the ways of the Force, and learned to use lightsabers with deadly accuracy—a skill that came fairly easily to him, as did all combat arts. Vin took to his studies with great ferocity, as he did with anything he set out to learn. However, there were certain areas in which he had no experience, such as command and tactics—two very important skills that every Sith should excel at, according to Darth Malikus—and so his Master sent Vin to work with one of the many mercenary groups that frequently took assignments for the different Sith Lords. Malikus, being one of the wiser of the Sith, sent his apprentice, rather than accompanying him, so that Vin would be able to concentrate on the lessons he was to learn without the added distraction of tutelage in the further ways of the Force. Malikus sent Vin to learn from a trusted merc commander, one that had a reputation of being loyal to his current employer, no matter whom that might be. “A contract is a contract” was his motto, and Darth Malikus respected and rewarded this creed with continued contracts over the course of many years.

Life changed violently during the New Sith Wars. Repeated conflicts over the planet Ruusan left that planet war-torn and decimated. Many, many people on both sides lost their lives in the series of battles that took place there. Compounding everything was the fact that this band of mercenaries now found themselves embroiled right in the middle of what became known as the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, a battle that was NOT going very well for them. Their ship locked in mortal combat with two other vessels, a devastating shot crippled the ship Vin was on. Damage on board the cruiser was catastrophic, but not nearly so bad as what happened next. A behemoth, violent wave of dark Force energy roiled through Vin. Its origin was unknown; its cause, beyond his ability to understand. The blast knocked Vin senseless, burning out his memory implant and leaving him stunned, nearly unconscious. Fortunately for him, some of his closest friends were nearby and were able to help Vin to a ship in the docking bay, and off-board before the cruiser’s remains crashed on the planet below.

Physical Description: Darwin's unkept black hair is just starting to show a touch of gray, a symptom of his highly stressful job working for the Sith. He hasn't shaved since his ship crashed, showing some beard growth. His unkept look actually clashes a bit with his wardrobe, which is actually quite expensive although it's becoming ragged and uncleaned after his crash. He walks with a bit of a limp from a past right leg injury that wasn't treated properly while he was on a past job, and his left hand (his dominant hand) shows slight signs of a blaster burn where a blaster power pack blew up in his hand.
Background: Trying to make it as an "honest trader" Dar turned to more dangerous and lucrative jobs working for the Sith government to keep up with loan payments on his ship. After a number of jobs smuggling weapons, transporting special ops, and other dangerous missions, he finally got his ship paid off, and planned to go back to the life of a trader after one more job. Unfortunately, that ended up being one job to many, what was supposed to be an easy supply drop to ground forces behind the lines, ended up with his ship shot down, and Dar and his droid T3-RT (Artee) barely getting out in an escape pod. Now Dar is stranded on planet without a ship, having only a couple weapons, his droid, and a few credits available in order to start all over again to build a living.
Personality: Usually somewhat suave and a smooth talker, Dar has become depressed and a bit more withdrawn with the destruction of his ship, and the loss of his life's savings. He tries to stay out of the rougher and darker side of smuggling and trading, but he seems to always get drawn in, whether it's debts, threats, or other means.
Objectives: To get a ship, and be able to live a simpler life as a rogue trader.

Originally won by Darwin in a game of Pazaak, this droid has been Dar's companion ever since. Dar treats the droid almost like a pet, even though the ship is really his co-pilot, and the one who maintains the ship. Dar only has a little bit of a grasp of what the droid is saying at any time. Dar also has no skill whatsoever at repairing, programming, or maintaining the droid, so Artee is worse for the wear because of it. He has never had a memory wipe since Dar has owned him, so his stubborn personality has gotten to develop unrestrained. His left forwards leg needs maintenance, and has a slight wobble to it as he roles, and a whining screech to it when he raises up or lowers his body. The lights on his head begin to flicker slightly, whenever he connects with a computer or ship, as power gets diverted to the task. Lastly, his holoprojector always has a bit of static to it.

Additional Background (as I read setting info):

Frequest Supplier to the system of Korriban for a Sith training academy.

Battle of Hapori -
Smuggled a group of commandos on planet, where they took out some of the defenses of a Duros Colony.

1st and 2nd Battle of Ruusan -
Not part of the actual battle, but after the battle, spent a lot of time moving supplies to the surface to build the Sith Garrison, navigating through wreckage. In between runs, he took the time to salvage equipment from the wrecked ships, using the salvage to use as upgrades, or sell or trade to get technicians to repair and install those upgrades. Was able to recover a number of Aurek heavy laser cannons and proton torpedo launchers, as well as projectil weapons from Buzzards.

7th Battle of Ruusan -
Was enroute to deliver medical supplies to the garrison. Was intercepted in orbit during the early stages of the battle and shot down. Had to use an escape pod with his droid, abandoning his ship. Crashed down in an uncivilized area outside the conflict, and had to work his way towards civilized areas on foot.

Physical Description: Very short black hair, gray/green eyes, thin mustache. Wears some casual but dark cloth.
Background: Joined a Mercenary Group with age 16. Since he always played with explosive chemicals at home (that, of course, tend to blow up most of the time) he was pretty good with the handling of explosives of any kind, which soon made him the demolition-guy of the group. His group decided to work for the Sith, which, in the end, was a pretty bad idea. They were seen as nothing more then cannon-fooder, so not long after the beginning of the Ruusan campaign, Johns comrades fell one after the other, until only he was left. He started to have doubts if fighting for the Sith was the right choice. But since he didn't know what else he could do and right in the middle of a battlefield, he joined up with a new Mercenary Group that picked him up right after the 1st Battle of Ruusan.

Personality: He's a pretty quite guy, but when it comes to explosives or generally "blowing something up", he gets very talkative. He sees "blowing something up" as a kind of art. Everyone can just stick alot of detonite to something and blow it up, but for him it's always a challenge to find just the right places and use just enough and different kinds of explosives to reach his goal.
He's always analytic, always trying to find the best way first before acting.
Objective: Getting away from the Ruusan and the Sith.

Background: Caster was orphaned at a young age. Caster’s father was a pilot in the Sith Army and died in combat. Caster never got the details of what happened. All he knew was that his dad was not going to be around anymore. This was apparently too much for mom to handle and she dropped Caster off at an orphanage and never looked back. Caster bounced around from one orphanage to the next and one school to the next. He always had a problem with authority and that got him in trouble.

When it became clear that further education was not in the cards; and needing cash and three meals a day, Caster signed on to join the Sith Army. They quickly determined that he had no ability or interest with the force and sent him off to basic training. Through the course of his training his instructors found out he had a knack for piloting anything with an engine. Long story short, Caster became a pilot. He started out as a combat pilot and was eventually tasked to special assignments, flying shuttles and space transports in and out of enemy territory, dropping of and picking up troops and special agents.

As the war has gone on, Caster has seen some pretty nasty stuff. Though he never really believed it to begin with, Caster has become convinced that the Sith cause is nowhere close to noble. Caster is growing increasingly frustrated with the Sith and resents every order he is given. It is high time that Caster get out on his own and start taking orders from no one but himself.

Personality: Caster has a problem with pretty much every authority figure he has run into and likes to keep to himself. He has no interest in the force and has grown to see the Jedi and the Sith as two sides to the same coin. He is suspicious of force users and figures the galaxy would be a better place if the Jedi and Sith would all go to their monasteries and meditate for a few hundred years, leaving the rest of the population alone.

Caster will say what he needs to say in as few words as possible. His first concern is to look out for his own interests, but he is very loyal to soldiers he has worked with – especially to soldiers who are disenchanted like he is.

Objectives: To somehow get out of the Sith Army. To get his own ship and some day retire to a quiet corner of the galaxy, where people will leave him the heck alone.

Dani Vox

Height: 1.7 m Weight: 58kg
Physical Description: Dani is a petite Zeltron female. She is in excellent physical shape but the downside of this is she has a very fragile frame, clearly not built for a straight slugging match Dani relies much on her natural grace and athleticism to keep her out of trouble. She has the typical deep pink skin of her species but chooses to dye her hair brown thereby helping her relate better with humans.
Personality: Dani learned quickly to control her species natural tendency towards hedonistic pursuits, she is less impulsive than your typical Zeltron but this is down to her years of practice in her profession rather than a change in her true personality. Dani, outwardly – can be anyone she needs to be to infiltrate a target. The rouge smuggler, the preppy cantena dancer, the noble senator – all well rehersed acts. Those that get to know the real Dani or Vox as she prefers find that she is fun, polite, well mannered and incredibly driven. However, they often can’t help wondering “Is this the real Dani Vox?”.
Background: Vox did the typical Zeltron thing and left home early. She left a very affluent life-style, it was not a forced decision. As she was used to the comfortable trappings of a privileged life she attempted to keep this up as she travelled, the debts accumulated and finally the debtors came calling. Vox began stealing at first to pay her debts but soon found the thrill of the job more seductive than credits, fine clothes and jewels. She slowly worked up a good reputation until she was recruited by the Sith Lord Malikus for some infiltration assignments.

Her last assignment was a posting on Kashyyyk but the Republic have since re-taken the planet. Since then Dani has been laying low , trying not to draw attention to herself while waiting for her Sith masters to contact her. So far she has received no further orders and has a bad feeling and a growing concern as rumours are surfacing of a great Republic victory over the Sith in Ruusan, Dani faces the start reality of being unemployed and on the wrong end of a war tribunal. Posing as a Republic coms officer in one of the many landing platforms on Kashyyyk Dani was setting herself up to stow away on a freighter bound for the outer-rim, but then fate or the force it seems sent her a lifeline......

Objectives: To find a new organization with enough money and interesting enough assignments to warrant her skills.

“So Vox.....who are we going to be today?” – mental preparation for an assignment.

Empathy: Zeltron feel other people’s emotions as if they were their own. Therefore, they receive a -1D penalty to ALL rolls when in the presence of anyone projecting strong negative emotions.
Pheromones: Zeltron can project their emotions, and this gives them a +1D bonus to influencing others through the use of the bargain, command, con, or persuasion skills.
Entertainers: Due to their talents as entertainers, Zeltron gain a +1D bonus to any skill rolls involving acting, playing musical instruments, singing, or other forms of entertainment.
Initiative Bonus: Zeltron can react to people quickly due to their ability to sense emotion, and thus they gain a +1 pip bonus to initiative rolls.

A man who was been practicing medicine with cybernetics. However he has been doing so while repairing electronics with various jobs. Most of them with various companies with the Sith Mercenaries. The last job was when his license decided to expire, he has never renewed it.

He is not a very nice guy. He will be as direct to the point. However, he is not a empathetic person and he will be as honest as possible. And not even think about the person

He has none.

BACKGROUND: Roourarca grew up in a fighting focused clan on Kashyyk. He is quite agile and fast, despite his huge build, taller even for the great Wookiees, and his focused mind made him a great student of the Wookiee martial art, the Wruushi. He made great advancements on his clan ranks, mastering the secrets of the Wruushi at an early age.
He didn't spend time playing with machinery like most of his brothers, but he liked the computer programming and quickly became an accomplished slicer.
Unfortunately he failed to abdie to the most important teachings of his clan and unit, the ones who talked about honor and not techniques. He only cared about winning, at all cost. He somehow was obssesed with wining. He hurt some of the other advanced students to prevent them winning him, he pushed himself to his limits to be the one who took down the prey at the hunting raids. He just wanted to be the best of the best and to be recognize by it.
He felt a deep respect and sense of duty towards his clan, it just that he wanted it, he knew it, it was the best and most powerful clan in all Kashyyk.
It was that compelling feeling that made him fall.
There was another clan who compete with his own. In one annual competition they lose and get the second place. That was more than he could stand.
He sliced on the other clan's computer and knew of their next movements. He changed some things in their schelude and sent some messages to the key members of that clan. Then he sent a message to some Trandoshan slavers and sold the other clan members to them.
He didn't accept a credit, he didn't do it for the profit or the money. All he wanted was his clan honor restored. He failed to see that it were his actions, not the honorable defeat, what bringed shame to his whole clan.

When his actions were discovered he was casted away from his clan, his name erased from its records. No song or record of his great acomplishments would be ever known to the Wookiees.

Even now he feels betrayed by his clan, arguing that he is the only one who truly knows what means to be a wookiee, a pride and lethal hunter. He continues training on a daily basis, and he mantain his own personal code of honor.

He went to the Outer Rim and made for himself a name as bounty hunter and ocassinal slicer. Not respected but feared, he sell his services not only to those who can pay him, but to those who give him an opportunity to put his skill to test.
