				| OK, I'm a Transformers geek on top of every thing else. That said...
Any one ever considered the transformers or a similar race for star wars?

Or what about droids that can transform into functional "Speeder" scale vehicles.

I'm curious to know what some one like Gry Sarth would do with them

				| You know, all those Star Wars -Transformers toys should come with a story concept in an alternate universe, perhaps in a comic or something. Instead of biologics, the Star Wars galaxy is populated by mechanical life-forms that transforms into vehicles, created by the Allspark which resides deep in the planet Coruscantron. _________________

				| I don't know, Hisham. Right now I'm remembering something from one of the packages saying Obi-Wan hopped into his fighter and transformed it once he arrived at his destination. Kinda sounds like what very little there was of G1's season four. Or maybe that was Luke in the X-wing.
But the alternate universe idea and stats still sound good.

				| Really, these sorts of things are already in Canon, in the form of things like the Vulture-class droid starfighters.
My thoughts on creating stats for them would be to create the chassis, giving alternate stats for the various forms (make sure that the scale doesn't change) as they would fit together (gotta make sense), and add on some attributes. The physical attributes would largely be covered by the vehicle stats, Hull/Shields for Str., Maneuverability for Dex, but they would require Mechanical, Knowledge, Perception and perhaps Technical Attributes. Again, look at other droids when assigning these; droids, by and large are focused on skills, not attributes; they tend to have rather low attribute scores and high skills in their areas of specialization.

				| I appreciate the kind words from long ago; most likely comments before my burning out from writing and running games. But, I'm back now (as much as I can be). With that being said...
We have a Transformers game starting up on August 11, 2011. For details, please check here. In short, if you followed the Generation One cartoons, I'm trying to go with that timeline with a few slight changes. We're going to be starting on Cybertron with the first few chapters being missions and stories happening prior to the Ark's departure to Earth, approximately 4 million years ago. We've got two players so far (Autobot campaign), and the Autobots are going to need as much help as possible.
