1 session... in starwars.
quite a few in D&D. I ransacked a few cities... but only when people were sniffing too closely to me... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire. "

How did it end, did you get killed or did you get to retire your character? 8) _________________ Tuco: "But if you miss you had better miss very well. Whoever double-crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Tuco."

the game never took off... not enough players... most of our group was too busy... and those that could play wanted to play another game...
As for the D&D game, coming up with adventure hooks for an Evil character is kind of difficult... and when most of the creatures there are undead... fighting against a vampire is kind of tough for weak undead... and the humans there couldn't touch me... lol... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Last game I GMed (a VTM game), the players ended up turning on one another and they weren't supposed to be "bad guys", so I didn't want to GM another game like that, which is mainly why I'm off the VTM.
Thats why I was wandering what to do if my players want to play Imperials, the bad guys. 8) _________________ Tuco: "But if you miss you had better miss very well. Whoever double-crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Tuco."

I know Rexer ran a campaign for a while where the PCs played as a squad of Stormtroopers. He said it was a lot of fun. _________________ "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." --Yoda

I to have been in a game where we played as imperials.
However we didn't think we were the bad guys. As far as we knew the Imperium was the ellected form of government and we were simply soldiers doing good work for the safety of the universe.
There was lots of peace keeping and riot quelling and not so much with the wanton slaughter.
We considered rebels to be evil terrorists.
Not one of the characters committed an evil act. We all believed in what we were doing and were not cruel about doing it

That's sweet Esoomian. Real roleplaying.
As for playing the villian, well, Weiss was never diabolical but he did his fair share of murder. I, personally, enjoy the lone psychopaths. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Yeah they're fun to play as well.
Difficult in a SW setting if your GM insists on giving darkside points for evil acts even if you aren't force sensitive (as mine does).
My GM has never played the Imerium as a whole as an evil entity. He believes for the most part it is made up of people who believe in what they are doing and that they are doing it for the greater good. It's just when you get higher up the hirarchy you reach the evil personalities who are aware of what they are doing.
So what happens to evil characters that aquire darkside points. Th GM can't just say "oh you're evil now as you've got to many darkside points I have to confiscate your character" so what happens? |

Luke Skywalker has three dsp, is he evil? No.
Ragnar has, I think six right now. He had eight. I had him play his character as angry and violent as reasonably as eight dsp would allow. He also is very paranoid and untrusting. When given the choice, violence or diplomacy, choose violence. Or roll willpower to resist the urge to blast them. Your not evil, you just walk that path from time to time. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

So an evil character with DSPs is just more evil?
What happens if they exceed 10 DSPs |
