And then I guess it's totally up to you and the GM to come with a good reason that you have higher target numbers! _________________ Random is who random does... |

Yes.. Same with how white wolf did it, same as iirc shadowrun 2nd ed had it.
So you could gain more to hit by waiting longer (aiming more), but there was a cap.

I go that route normally (well offer the choice for pcs), but only on sniping do i do the 1/4 damage bonus.. So any pc who might get hit by a NPC sniper certainly is not falling to a mook! _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I've seen a D6 varient that used a system whereby every five points you beat the to-hit difficulty by gave you +1D damage.
It eliminates the need for called shots as it assumes you're trying to get the best shot you possibly can already and it doesn't seem too overpowered as you need to beat the to-hit difficulty by 15 or more to get a 3D damage bonus.
It's worked well when I've used it in the past. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Rules of Engagement has a couple of optional rules for deadlier combat.
Check out page 57. (they're a bit too lengthy to type here). _________________ Han - "How're we doin'?"
