Yes, I think she's going to find her ideals and the Empire's ideals are going to diverge next season. The character strikes me as someone who likes sausage, but then is disgusted by how sausage is made.

Isn't that everyone?

Honestly - I am not sure if we will Supervisor meero leave the empire - I think she is too far "in".

Could be - but I think that would be quite a development to see.

One character I think we MAY see go to the rebels side - is Linus Mosk, the bluberry SGT that was on the ferrix raid, got kicked out by the empire, then was there at the end.

We see him here are the very end of the show in the aftermath of the events on Ferrix - drinking. This scene is bookended by other very major characters and plot points (Mon giving up her daughter for the rebellion, and Cassian joining) so I think it is an important event.

I also think it would put him on a conflicting trajectory with Syril - and would love to see how that would play out.

Still - if Supervisor Meero changed sides - I am sure it will quite the story.

Regardless - Andor s1 was a masterpiece - and I eagerly await S2.

After what we heard of her background in Season 2 there is zero chance Dedra turns. She was raised in the Imperial system since she was three.

It took me a couple days but I watched the first arc of s2. The overall fantastic television entertainment continues.

It was no surprise that Meero and Syril ended up together. I was totally caught off guard by seeing Meero smiling for the first time on the show. But her true self came out when she laid down the law for Syril's mother. Syril's anxiety is so realistic - I know people just like him (and Meero) in RL. I am also doubtful that Meero would ever betray the Empire.

One issue I had is a (possibly knee-jerk) reaction to Mon Mothma's seeming lack of being able to hide her emotions at her daughter's wedding. Someone supposedly so adept at politics had such a troubled look on her face so many times. I think it may have been a poor actor/director choice. Normally that expression would be considered good acting that helped sell the drama, but it seems out of place for the character. But then again, this season will show how Mothma leaves the Senate and goes all-in with the Rebellion, so we will see how it all unfolds.

That TIE Avenger is OP! I'm not a fan of TIEs being so spacious inside, an unfortunate trend that started at the beginning of Disney Wars by Rebels. In ANH, the cockpits of both the line TIEs and Vader's model were so cramped that it looked like there was barely enough room for the pilot.

This show is so unorthodox for Star Wars, but it's like a slice of life in the SW galaxy and I am really enjoying it. Tony Gilroy is the bright light of Disney Wars. After Andor s2, he will likely be done with Star Wars.

Should we put on a spoiler lock again with the new season?

On that note, the TIE in the show, was this the avenger, and if so it is huge inside and seems to have room for a pilot and at least with seating 3 passengers with room to move around

I'm not sure what you mean by "spoiler lock". This is the single "Andor [Spoilers Allowed]" thread. The Rancor Pit Spoiler Policy is always in effect. "Three weeks after a new media's release date, spoiler restrictions no longer have to be followed for the release." I did bump the thread as a reminder.

Yes, it's supposed to be a Tie Avenger prototype.

Two things:
    • It's an attack fighter. There doesn't need to be room to move around inside.
    • There is room for well more than three passengers (which it also doesn't need).
There is a very odd canon ship design trend for outer hulls of Imperial ships to be very thin. The same Rebels episode that had three rebels (including big Zeb) fit inside the cockpit of a standard TIE also had Ezra use a lightsaber to cut through the outer hull of a star destroyer like it was made out of butter. This silly animated design trend has now effected live action.
