The Costs of Life in Star Wars.

Okay so we got quite a bit of this stuff being compiled at the moment.

I'm currently waiting on the Medical Book to get finished.

BUT we are still missing the costs on slaves. And would like more on costs of animals and housing and such as well.

Any input appreciated, especially on the slave trade in regards to the slave npc's skill set.

Still looking for more input on what everyone thinks the cost of slaves should be.

only real thing we got to by (as far as I am aware) is Watto's statement of no pod racer being worth two slaves.

Sebulba's being worth 18k means Anakin + Shmi together are worth more than that.

Of course Watto was probably prone to exaggeration and Anakin's pod was probably only worth 8-10k or so.

Do we have other examples of the price of slaves?

Otherwise the only real way to gauge their worth is their skill set, which may or may be actually known. I know many slaves were simply snatched and sold as by race and gender, with little regard for what they were good at, but if they were good at something and it was a concern of course the price went up.
