It wouldn't bog the game down, or require any additional rolls.

But it also gets rid of the idea of actually rolling Knowledge skill dice to generate the bonus, which was a key component to what I was trying to do. And the more I think about it, the less concerned I am about converting the resulting bonus pips into dice; I've been playing D6 so long that I can practically convert pips to dice in my sleep.

The Sparks group has a flat synergy bonus on selective per skills based on your Body language (know) profession roll, or on many different skills based on your Scholar skill. There its a flat 1d bonus per 3d of the Body lang or scholar skill.

I'd rather see this broadened out under the Perception attribute into some variation of the D&D Sense Motive skill.

EDIT: And then I remembered that Body Languages is actually an official skill under the Lorrdian template. That's what I get for posting before I have my morning coffee.

However, under the description of Body Language on the Lorrdian template, the ability does default to Perception.

True. Loordian's get it as a racial trait, others can try to learn it by the body language profession skill.

Profession is similar to scholar, in that you take it for a specific subset of the skill.. Like profession-dance, profession-chef.
