Yeah, but it seems too thin compared to Serenity. A man fitting in the cockpit of the Falcon seems smaller than one in Serenity. But eh, who cares, the site is pretty cool Smile

I personally like Joss Whedon's explanation: Hyperspace travels at the speed of plot. Make it take as long as you *need* it to take to move the story along. Especially in a game like Star Wars, where ...

Hrm, their Serenity FireFly ship seems to be a lot bigger than the Millenium Falcon. I would have put those on about the same scale...

Hero I really like but I got rid of the books since most people are intimidated by the rules.

Agreed, since the chargen in Champions can be quite intimidating to a new player. Also, since it's kind ...

Me, I'd like to see someone take the D6 system and make it open, either with OGL or some other license. I like the idea of the OGL, but I've never liked the D20 system. I'd love to see lots of peopl ...

Agreed. IMHO, the Rules Companion "completed" the 1st Ed. rules. They filled in the few gaps that existed in the 1st ed, like scale, pips, droids, the force as skills, etc. They of course in ...

I'm not saying the Wild Die is bad, I'm saying it epitomizes the difference between 1st ed and 2nd ed. Added complexity to an otherwise simple game.

And my bad on the dates. I was out-of-country w ...

The specializations you suggest dosent make much sense, as they count as seperate skills.

IMHO, skill specializations are kinda silly to begin with, and wish they'd never introduced it into the ga ...

Don't forget to Specialize. As much as I don't like that rule (I'm a 1st Ed person), if you want to maximize your starting character, particularly in useful Bounty Hunter like skills, save one of your ...

For D6, I don't think it matters. A new character is simply given 18 dice to balance among different stats. If you don't choose a template and create your own, then make the STR lower than usual (i.e. ...

I think the wild die is essential to Star Wars, and even if you use 1st edition, you can still add the wild die without needing a chart to refer to. The rules are easy for even a beginning GM to reme ...
