It remains firmly in the camp of "acceptable entertainment".
Contains a lot of utterly un-suspendable disbelief. It had a lot of great little gems in it but overall it's somewhere ab ... |

I don't know if I have Star War fatigue but the scenes with ships all seem really bad to me. To me they look like a video game cutscene, not a 2022 Disney-level special effects scene.
So now what? ... |

I actually like it the best of the sequels. That's not saying much, but still.

The music is a huge letdown for me, for a Star Wars property though. |

That is an interesting read.
But if Andor has been in the fight since he was 6, how can he have had time to "evolve from a self-serving nihilist"? |

All this canon/non-canon debate is also why Disney de-canonized the entire EU prior to making the ST. It's not that they didn't like any of the material - there's been bits and pieces of it that have ...

I kind of agree. That's why I typically just tell the players "the Star Wars we're playing is based more on the movies than on all of the books, as there's no way I'm going to keep all of that ... |

but there is also a lot to like about it.
1) It reads almost *exactly* like a West End adventure a teenage GM would've written at home. Even some of the worst parts would've been awesome if, inste ... |

With Ewan MacGregor and Joel Edgerton, the acting alone might carry the show pretty far.

Hi,
So this is a metal Han Solo on tauntaun figure from the Hoth Ion Cannon playset. This is a neat example of the production process because it is unpainted (not too terribly rare in that way) and m ... |

If you are just talking about just the modern Star Wars that you like, than it isn't really "a common problem". You are talking about your problem. Got it.
Between the prequels and the se ... |

What you seem to be referring to is really just the fact that the film franchise has continued beyond the classic trilogy. I like Rogue One and the new live action TV shows. |

In both canons, the character of Obi-Wan is only 57 during ANH. That's too young and just doesn't work for me. But he was 25 in TPM and already late for typical human promotion to knighthood as it i ... |

People can say what they will about the prequels and sequels, but someday we'll all be dead and forgotten, and there will be no one left ... |
