What I use in my game is pretty simple. If the person using a lightsaber rolls a 6 on the wild die and succeeds in the parry, the weapon is hit and rendered useless. Anything else the attacker simply misses.

Had an Ebranite character who wanted to be a lightsaber user, self taught.

I rolled a die for how many limbs he would lose, I got a 5. He would have to pick 5 limbs to keep for the game if he wanted to use a light-saber self taught.

Actyually i did have someone wish to make a Pho_phinnian battlemaster (using the TOTJ sourcebook) so he could wield 4 lightsabers.... I let him, and his first 2 attack rolls, in the first combat, were 1,2,2,1,1,1, and 1,1,2,4,1,1..... BOTH times hitting himself...

Sounds similar to Ronoa Zorro's triple blade fighting style, one in each hand and one in the mouth.

So any creature can tri-wield.
