I was playing it the whole time. I PMed my actions to Jam and he then posted the results. It was an awful lot of work for him and I think it went really well.
He suggested I make my first post before putting up my character sheet just to add to the mystery. I'll post my character sheet now so you can all see just what you've been interacting with (feel free not to look if you prefer not to know )
It's been really hard playing this game without interacting directly with everyone and I'm looking forward to being able to post in the OOC thread. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Wow. I LOVED that! Congratulations you two! Man, that puts everything into a different perspective.
So, turns out all the hatred I was directing at Jamfke.... actually should be directed at YOU, Esoomian! I HATE YOU!! Hehehe, just kidding (but not much).
Man, that AI has really been driving Toba insane. Well, at least now, knowing it's a PC, it gives me hope that it CAN be killed! _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Yes I have to admit watching the crew tie themselves in knots trying to find/remove me gave me a little guilty pleasure and I will miss my actions being a complete surprise but I think a little co-operation should be fun too.
Thanks, I've been really looking forward to being an 'active' player. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! You having been interacting here, but now knowing what I know I think you did drop a hint in the OOC thread in Vong's game I'm looking back through the OOC thread to find out what all we as a crew got when I came across this from October 18th:
Esoomian wrote: | Hellcat wrote: | Mythbusters fan? This sounds like the dead body in the car myth. |
I did see that episode, we might be in for quite a lingering smell then.
All in favour of changing the Chance's name to The Sugar Shack?
Orgaloth wrote: | Yeah an MSE. They can get into a lot of different places, and take over the ship. Haven't you been keeping up with Jamfke's game? Those things are dangerous. |
I try not to follow games when I'm not part of them. All it does is make me want to play them.
A rogue MSE shouldn't be too dangerous I don't think they have a real droid brain? I thought they just had small task modules you swapped out as needed. I suppose if someone made a sabotage module it might be able to do some damage but it should be pretty easy to find as it wouldn't have a traditional intelligence right? |
Could this have been a subtle hint or did you come up with the character after you posted this? _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Yes that was a hint, my character had existed for a very long time before I posted that in Vong's game.
I just couldn't resist. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. And my reply to it ended up being right but I didn't realize it was right because it was a PC and not an NPC. Bet you and Jamfke had to be laughing your ******** off at
Hellcat wrote: | I'm starting to question if it really is an MSE or if something is playing with us. Seems like Cal actually got zapped by his own damaged rover and not the believed MSE. And I've been considering Kabakh putting that one out. |

Yes I had a quiet chuckle over that one and may I say your search-fu is excellent. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Yeah, unfortunately what I looked for wasn't there. I was trying to see if in addition to the individual request Vong had given us some water filtration canteens or something. So I improvised my IC post with an old camper trick for when your not sure stream or river water is safe to drink. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

It was soooo much fun!
PS, HC, I believe your last post was intended for Vong's game maybe?
Edit: No, never mind, I just got the context... _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Actually, it should have been more a general thread post. It was intended as a response to Esoomians comment about search fu. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
