Disney is planning a live-action Star Wars TV show for its streaming service

Disney is launching their own streaming service that will will reported be cheaper than Netflix. They are saying late 2019. It will feature the new Star Wars show, Marvel shows, and other stuff. Thoughts?

GAH!!

That probably means all the Star Wars and Marvel content would be ripped from Netflix.

I have really enjoyed most of the Netflix Marvel shows; Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Defenders in particular. (Luke Cage and Iron Fist to a lesser degree).

Yes, Disney is ending their relationship with Netflix, but it is unknown how soon that will happen and what exactly that means for the future seasons of these shows. Punisher will still drop on Netflix next week.

I also rank Luke Cage and Iron Fist lowest. Here are my Netflix Marvel season rankings:

    1. Daredevil (Season 1)
    2. Daredevil (Season 2)
    3. Jessica Jones
    4. The Defenders
    5. Luke Cage
    6. Iron Fist

As a childhood fan of the comic book Iron Fist, I'm sad to say that the Netflix Danny Rand is just an annoying character. He is not worthy of the Immortal Iron Fist. Even my chi is more balanced than his! The Defenders is higher than Luke Cage mainly by virtue of having Jessica Jones and Daredevil (who was a bit annoying in this show too). I was disappointed by Iron Fist. I'm down for The Punisher and Daredevil Season 3, and maybe Jessica Jones Season 2, but I don't know if I'll continue with them after that. They aught to scrap Luke Cage Season 2 and Iron First Season 2, and instead just make a Power Man and Iron Fist show instead. And give Danny Rand some much needed character development, please!

I'd possibly switch 4 and 5, but otherwise I agree.

So you're going to watch Episode VIII and Solo, but not Episode IX?

I'm thinking that he's talking about Episodes VIII and IX, since Solo isn't a Saga film.

And on top of a second new Star Wars film series in development, Disney is developing "a few" new TV series for its streaming service. I have a bad feeling about this.
