In the starships of the galaxy/essential guide to vehicles and vessels as well as stock ships, this corellian craft is described as a having decent speed and maneuverability, but so far ONLY one of the 3 D6 sourcebooks for it, list an actual maneuverability rating (of 1d+1) and speed of 4.. Exactly the same as a stock slow Ghtroc or YT1300..

So, is its maneuverability 1d+1 as pirates and privateers listed it as, or is it 0d as both the other sources have it as?

I believe the base model and the Lambarian Crab from Stock ships has 0D Maneuver.

The Outrider from the Shadows of the Empire hardback has 2D maneuver.

Remember, the Falcon has 2D maneuver.

Stock Ships is a questionable source anyway. If you take it at its word, the YT-2400 doesn't have an engine room or a boarding ramp (of any kind) either.

Well, those don't come stock. Wink

To be completely fair, though, there is an unlabeled hatch aft of the cockpit. Maybe the stock vessels only come with this. It's a small vessel. Haul cargo through the hatch using a wench or grav paddles. If you want a bigger ramp and/or a cargo ramp, then you pay extra.

It does have an engine room. Area 17.

Actually, stock ships doesn't even list a maneuverability line, let alone list it at 0d.

Typically, the line is omitted if the ship has Maneuver 0D. Like the Scout Ship on page 256 RE.

Stock Ships does have some vessels with Maneuver. For example, the very first entry. Those without the line do not have a maneuver code (it is 0D).

The description of the 2400 is that it is a very old, aging design--over a decade old. Which puts it as a new ship during the prequels.

Still a questionable design. I prefer this one...

It's based off one of the old video games (probably Shadows of the Empire, but I can't say for sure). Bottom line for me is, WEG's ship designs (including their deck plans) are questionable at best, and Stock Ships is a case in point.

But even the complete starships collection lists it that way.. Not just STock ships.. And it does list several other ships at 0d maneuverability..

Not to mention that the superstructure where the captain's cabin is supposed to be is half the height of the cockpit. Is that tight crawlspace supposed to be where the captain sleeps? A Jawa could barely fit in there!
