So, weird and silly question...

Do we know enough Ewok to translate "Yub Nub" and other exclamations in Ewok?

That's awesome. The only Ewokese I understood was when the Ewoks began speaking after C-3PO first tried to speak to them. Oddly enough, it sounded like English:

1st Ewok: That guy's wise.
2nd Ewok: More than I am short.

Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them.

Haha WOW. Many thanks for that link, Whill.

This is purely anecdotal and based upon fuzzy memory,
BUT my family and I did always think one of the Ewoks remarked,
"maganda siya" about Princess Leia, which translates to "she is pretty/beautiful" in Tagalog.

Will report a timecode for the dialogue next time I watch RotJ!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was the case. Hell, Nien Nunb's dialogue in ROTJ is all based off of a real life African dialect, completely translatable. And that's not the only example of an obscure Earth language being used as an alien language stand-in in Star Wars movies (though I can't recall them off the top of my head).
