Yes, that's what I was referring to. It's interesting that in 2R&E, we have discussions like this, about how many MAPs are calculated up for using a Force power with multiple skill rolls, on top of other non-Force-power skills, and then in D6 Space (which is essentially Star Wars 3E without the Star Wars), they made all the Metaphysics abilities single-skill rolls and only allowed you to use power at a time. Coincidence? I think not.

Hrm that seems really interesting, only one power at a time, and making things a single skill roll. I am assuming that an control alter skill would just be one roll. Would you add both die together then roll, or roll separately but only count it as one action?

Though if I were to house rule that, do you think it'd make Jedi way too over powered? (I have created advantages and 'feats' that players can take like Mandalorian Training, or Jedi Hunter to give them a bit of advantage towards force users so balance things out a bit)

Regardless of if Lightsabers kill in one hit, we do want those duels. Removing the STR bonus will help a lot, as we where having characters roll 9D against 2D strength NPCs. Just no chance. So fixing that will event he odds a bit.

Bottom line it is less about accuracy and more about the fun we want to have in the campaign. One of those being lightsaber duels that at least take a few rounds unless someone is completely out matched.

It might be. So affect mind (Con+sen+alt) was shifted to ONE roll of one skill?

Affect Mind doesn't really have a D6 Space equivalent. The closest it gets is a Sense power called Influence that grants the equivalent of the skill Influence at 5D.
