I have been intrigued with using sounds (sparingly) in my VTT games. Best I have found for Star Wars sounds is the Soundboard thing on the Star Wars.com site. Unfortunately I would have to run my session through my speakers and that set you up for a whole lot of reverb, echo, etc.

Has anyone else successfully used sounds in their VTT games? If so, how?

I've always wondered about this too. Isn't there a sound-sharing device in roll20?

There is Jukebox which I think is connected with some kind of community cloud sharing thing. Copyrighted material and sounds are a no-no and it is publicly shared. I do not know from personal experience, but others have told me its a PitA to load your own stuff up using this option.

I have looked for Star Wars and related sounds and not had much luck. Perhaps others have had a different experience.

If you are already using a voice chat client, I suppose all you need is a Star Wars Soundboard

Not sure how you would use them. It doesn't seem to matter what platform you are using: Skype, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, etc. You would have to have your sound going through your computer speakers and loud enough to be heard through your microphone. Again the issue is the reverb you would get from keeping your speakers that loud and your open mic. I was hoping there was another way of doing this without using that method.
