[vong] 10PM EST is pretty late to be trying to get a game started on a Monday night. I might be able to start that late, but it really depends on the majority. I will keep you updated. You may want to post to the Star Wars D6 G+ community as well.

[Ral_Brelt] I have not decided on an Era at this time. My default is 6 months after ANH. As for restrictions? I am a bit confused by what you mean by restrictions.

[Dromdarr_Alark] I like to think I am pretty open to character concepts. It is during the Rise of the Empire era, 6 months after ANH. So the idea of Jedi? Pretty much a no. Can you come up with a character concept that could explain this? Probably. Will I allow it? If it makes sense and is not a munchkin character, probably.

I am more interested in interesting character concepts and telling a good story. This is not Pathfinder, its not about the most +'s or who can make the best character build.

SWD6 is a system that is easily broken. It is not balanced. I as a GM am not going to even try to balance it. Bring me a character and a concept that would be fun to roleplay and we will make it work.

Bring me a character with a bunch of +'s and no concept or background, I will probably tell you no and redo it.

[Ral_Brelt] I have a number of pregeneratred characters. This is not the same as templates. So I am bit confused as to what your asking exactly.

Here are a number of pregens that are a lot of fun. This is not an exhaustive list, but it will give you an idea.

Vandelle Desh: human, male freighter captain, cold and calculating.

Reedo: female, rodian hired gun with impulse control issues.

Miles Tarkin: an "honest" tramp freighter captain.

Meep: male, sullustan astrogator with a gambling problem.

Vosha: female, human gunslinger hunting for her kidnapped nephew.

1-BO: nanny droid with a hidden past.

Sheldon Information Droid.

Suef: male, transdoshan ship mechanic.

Bendle-uth-Norann: male, devaronian galactic big game hunter.

Okay guys, the event is created, the night selected and contact information given. I have not seen anyone take the time to ask questions either here or in e-mails. No one has joined the G+ event. We have less than a week before kickoff. If your interested lets get this started. If not please take the time to say as much and I will look for other players.

G+ is entirely new to me so I'll need some idiot directions for it an the roll20 site. This is my first net game. As for char concept, I'm thinking of a Duros navigator for my char. I was thinking he could be stuck on planet X due to the end of a contract on a previous ship, or the Empire seized it for the captain smuggling or having less than loyal friends(Rebels). Thinking of using the Duros Merchant template from d6 Holocron as a basis.

The first thing you need to do it create a G+ account. I believe you go to google.com and click on top right to create a new account. They keep changing things, so you may need to Google a search for how create an account.

I'm thinking about playing a disillusioned bounty hunter gadgeteer. I'll start with a template from the template collection. I plan on leaving 2D free for skills so that I ccan fill any deficit the party may have.

In the past i have tried certain forms of 'online' gaming, whether play by posts, or the like, and they just don't seem to hold my interest as much as face to face TT gaming does.

Guys, I hope last night wasn't the first time to meet on Google+. If it was, I'm sorry, ... I had computer issues at home on Sunday, and a bear of a day yesterday (and today and it will be another one tomorrow), so spent a total of 5 min checking e-mail and then got off my computer ...

Ok, for my character, it has been a LONG TIME since I've played, so I'll keep it simple (ish). I'll have to look through some books to see which template best fits, but I'm leaning toward a command type, but stepping back from a main line fighter to more a scout type or a medic/commo type. I've never liked 'front line' 'tank' type fighters, and I'm way toooooo rusty to play something like a smuggler or tramp captain.

Not an issue there, even rusty, I'm good to go on concepts and backgrounds that are good to play.

DA rgr on that, but are we going to try and be 'Jacks of all' or try and be focused on one area and rely on others (NPC) help to fill out our weaknesses (3 characters alone will be hard to be good pilots, ground fighters, mechanic, etc etc etc)

Well I plan to be able to fly a freighter, but it won't big a hot hand at the stick sort. I'm gonna want yo invest into dodge and a bit of blaster too. After all, we get what, 7d for skills? I lack my books ATM.
