I'm looking for the deck plans for the Nubian Freefall Bomber.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Freefall-class_bomber

I understand they may not actually exist, since its an uncommon vehicle to use - but I'm hoping otherwise.

If anyone knows of a set or is even willing to help design out a set - PLEASE let me know.

I would be quite willing to start on a set myself except I cannot find more than one real image of the ship and it is from a diagonal view.

If I can find an image from the top of the vessel - and hopefully a side view I can at least get a decent starting point.

Any help is appreciated, as always.

Sorry no..

As a side note, I really love the crazy SW ship designs. If you design a ship with the specific designation as a bomber, why have 10 passengers? Also, it would better be really crappy, as its really dirt cheap. Laughing

Found it in Starship Stats and its actually quite a good ship, for the Wookiepedia price that is. Luckily its set at 220K in the Starship pdf.

With all that crammed into the ship (crew, bombs, passengers, etc) the deck plans would probably just be just passenger seats and cockpit with minimal sleeping bunks (like a submarine I guess).

That seems awfully inexpensive for a large, fast, tough, hyperdrive-equipped bomber.

Then it probably needs to suffer in other areas.

Using the excellent Starship Pricing Chart, which predicts the prices of existing WEG starships very well, I came up with these much more realistic stats that maintain the listed Wookieepedia pricing. It wasn't easy, the Hyperdrives, consumables and crew/passenger listing on the wookieepedia page really bump the price up.

I've used the Starship Pricing Chart and Construction Point system at the listed rates to reproduce just about any WEG starship myself and it does return correct prices on virtually any class of starship. I highly recommend this system as an accurate guide of WEG ships pricing and comparative stats.

Type: heavy assault long range starfighter bomber
Crew: 2, gunners: 2; skeleton 1/+10
Passengers: 10
Cargo capacity: 20 tons (used for bomb magazine)
Consumables: 4 weeks
Cost: 74K credits new, 18K credits used
Hyperdrive Multiplier: x2
Hyperdrive Backup: x10
Nav Computer: yes
Manoeuvrability: 0D
Space: 6
Atmosphere: 350; 1,000km/h
Hull: 3D
Shields: 1D
Sensors:
*Passive 15/0D, Scan 30/1D, Search 50/2D, Focus 2/2D+2
Weapons:
*Two Light Laser Cannons (fire linked)
Fire Arc: Turret
Crew: 1
Skill: Starship Gunnery
Fire Control: 2D
Space Range: 1-3/12/25
Atmosphere Range: 100-300/1.2/2.5km
Damage: 4D

*General Purpose Warhead Launcher (20 warheads carried)
Fire Arc: Front/down
Crew: 1
Skill: Missile Weapons
Fire Control: 3D
Space Range: 1/2/5
Atmosphere Range: 50-100/1/5km
Damage: 11D (proton bombs)

* Starship cost is without weapons or sensors fitted. Weapons emplacements and sensors add 16,000 credits to the price, heavy (1-ton) Proton bombs cost 5,000 credits each (a full magazine is 100,000 credits extra).

On the other hand, the Wookiepedia price is totally out of whack. A new yt1300 costs 125K, why would a military bomber be cheaper than the most stock of stock freighters?

By using the construction points system and keeping the stats conservative to keep construction points as low as possible, I did manage to get the above ship down to 74K credits (without weapons/sensors installed).

And a YT-1300 using the same system returns the correct price. Hull rating and cargo capacity impacts. By stipulating the 20-tons cargo of the bomber is a weapon magazine (thus it contributes to emplacements and indirectly to construction points, rather than directly on construction points), and cutting costs and construction points in every way I could they should work right, yet do match the wookieepedia stats.

The above stats I spent a good half an hour using the charts to arrive at, should be very good WEG canon compared to other starship pricing/stats relationships.

It's the PDF titled just "Starships Pricing" I can't remember the author. It's linked in the tools forum.
