First: Yay, I'm excited Very Happy It's just already so late -.- (0:50 am here ^^)

Second: Any guidelines about the Stile? Like thoughts in italic, direct speech in bold and narration normal or something like that? (or maybe even color code ^ ^) Or just any way we want as long as it is discernible what is what?

So long as everyone can tell what you are trying to do, I'm ok with it.

I've always used the following:

Italics for thoughts.
"Quotations for speach."
OOC: In front of anything you need to ask/say in-game.

Cool, I don't even have to adjust my posting style. That's been my typical rules over the years. (Hard to believe I've been playing online games for almost two decades now.)

Two decades? Thats impressive. I've been roleplaying online for about 12 years now, but I've been playing tabletop for over 25 now. I think my dad has finally given up on me outgrowing it, . . .

What is our realationship right now? I imagin that since Vin is a Sith Apprentice, he would probably introduced to us as "Darth Darkmauler" or something like that. Might even be "Lord Darkmauler". Right now it's just in Johns thoughts, but i don't think it would be "right" to adress you as simply "Vin" if i wanted to talk directly to your char...

And what about Darwin? Has he introduced himself as Darwin or as just Dar? Or maybe even just Starlander? ^^

For my char, it would have been simply "John Damek" without any more information (meaning nothing like "I'm John Damek, call me John" or something like that).

Darwin would have introduced himself as Darwin, but anyone who has been around him much (flights, casinos, cantinas) probably heard him called Dar more often than not. So addressing as either is fine.

Actually the title of Darth isnt very common during this time period, it was a practice that Darth Bane brought back. As for "Lord" Darkmauler, thats entirely up to him how he has introduced himself. You know that he is Sith, but unless he has told you, you probably dont know where he is in the heirarchy.

Darth is a pretty obscure title during this time period, so "Lord" would be the highest rank you are familiar with.

Vin will have been introduced as an apprentice, having been sent to work with this Company to learn. That's part of the reason I figured on his having earned friendships and respect amongst the mercs...he's been honest and up front with them about who he is why he's there. Calling him Vin will be fine. I envisioned him in a more comrade-type relationship with tthe other mercs.

I'm gonna use "*Text*" for direct speech via comlink, if you don't want anything else (in case we have to talk to a person nearby and thorugh the comlink in the same post)

Whenever the GM is ready, Caster can be added into the story.

Is there a possibility of getting deckplans for this particular ship? If not, then can we at least get a list of all the available facilities? I realize Vin knows the ship, but I can't have him tell everyone what's where if I don't know. Wink

Good question.

Lacking an official deckplan, I'm planning to use the deckplan for the Lantillian Short Hauler from Stock Ships as the basic layout.
