I'm trying to get the last of the baseline stats together for this collection. Hopefully I'll be able to finish things up in the next few days.

Take a look at the following and let me know if there are any glaring mistakes. Everything else in the collection has "Official" stat blocks, so I wont bother posting them at this time.

The swoops are a separate skill from Repulsorlift ops...

Same with the repair... though i could see giving them both.. just with swoop being 1d+2 above repulsor..

And why brawl but not brawl parry?

For the privateer borders.. i could see giving them a blaster carbine, OR pistol specialty.. (if you take carbines) then also give them a carbine in equipment).

For privateer officers.. why no tactics?

Swoop Pirates. Oops, . . . Embarassed fixed. Brawling Parry added at 3D+1.

Privateer Boarders. Why do they need higher stats? Their blaster skill is already +1 better than their Pirate counterpart.

Privateer Officer. I thought breifly about Tactics for them. I decided not to because none of the official stock stats had tactics on them. These included: Far Orbit Officer & Beeli’s Pirate Officer. For that matter, the ONLY template in this entire collection that has Tactics is "Garhkal's Pirate Captain." Wink With that said, I'll probably add it to some of the more advanced versions of the templats(s).

All my pirate/mercenary ground fighters have some skill in tactics. They're better than average pirates, and I run a more Knowledge-intensive game style than many on these boards, but the way I run things boarders are to pirates as Marines are to Navy crewmen. They're used to combat and the ones that are still alive are used to small unit tactics and working as a team.

Cause borders should be better in combat than general pirates..

Which is why they have slightly higher stats and have a wider range of combat skills.

Thanks!

To be honest, I'm just glad that there are a few people out there who have been able to put them to use!


Its starting to look like I'll have a little time this afternoon today. If so, I'll be putting a big dent in this collection later today. I'm also hoping to work on the Law Enforcement collection today, but I'm less sure I'll get around to that one.

Garhkal,

I'm working on this collection today, and I've got all the pirates done up to your own templates. Before I start fleshing them out, I have a couple of questions. 1. Are there any race and/or gender restrictions amongst your pirates? 2. Do you have any history and/or notes you would like included with the collection?

PSS: Dropped Garhkal's Pirate Leader from the list. It felt too overpowered/unique to feel right in the collection.

Just wanted to let everyone know. This collection is complete, I just need to convert the file to pdf and get it posted. Since I'm at the hospital until we can bring the twins home, my internet access is pretty limited at the moment. I'll try to get the file uploaded some time late this week.
