A looong time ago I remember finding a sheet for players here. It had a summary of basic rules players would find handy but not as detailed as a GM screen. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? My searching has turned up nothing...

Do you own the 2nd Ed, R&E?

Pages 18-21 would be the player handout sheets.

Yes but I thought someone created and posted a one page sheet that was a little more handy. I remember printing some out for my players but that was years ago. It may not exist anymore.

I've seen something of the sort. I don't think I saved it though. I'm planning on doing something similar though and hosting it on my 4shared. I'll let you know when that's complete. Hopefully it will help you with what you wish to do.

I've got a couple of player screens. I think I found them on the old SWd6 yahoo group. Send me a PM with your email and I'll forward them to you. Cheshire, if you'd like to put them up on your 4shared, I can send em to you as well. Let me know.

I don't understand player screens. I understand a GM screen to conceal their rolls but they also needs to see our rolls. I doubt anyone would lie but it's the principle IMO.

There not supposed to be screens really. There more just handouts for players to consult so that they have a good understanding of the rules. It slows down play when people keep asking the GM "Now, how do you do this again?" Or, "What do I have to roll?"

I have them, and they are called a "player screen". Actually I got them for Cheshire's 4share page, so unless you are looking for something else, the ones Chesire has are probaly what he is talking about. I put them in my players campaign handbook, along with other stuff. It would be a bad idea for each player to have a "screen" as well, doesnt encourage roleplaying, and they can cheat on their dice rolls, like my old of players was well known to do. Sometimes it was funny, othertimes it was annoying, nothing that an Emperor's hand and squad of Storm Commandos couldn't resolve.

I've played in groups with cheating players, it happens.

Groups like that need to be fed to the rancor. Eventhough in the movies we know how its going to end, mistakes and the like make for a better storyline.

I guess "screen' is a bit of a misnomer. Perhaps "Player Quick Reference" would be a better description.
