Pretty much just Photoshop CS3 or CS4 depending if I'm on my PC or my Macbook with a handful of tricks that I picked up from a webseries called "You Suck at Photoshop" and some things that I just figured out as I went along. I also have a tablet that I bought off a friend for 20 bucks. _________________ "Don't you have to have mini-clorinies in your blood or something to be a jedi?"

Added some new images, the blaster on the SpecOps inflitrator is a favorite of mine, since it's my own work. Based on the DC-15s.

Regarding the Space Marine / Stormtrooper, it had been done apparently..
8)
And the 40K scumbags dare to ridicule the elite Stormtroopers too..

Ok, then I need both then....
I have another request if you still wants to do some shopping...
Another of the characters in my group, this one very 'Dwarf in space-ish'.
The below picture is a bit 'cartooney' in bw and with almost no shadows. Also, something that tie the pic to the character would be great..
-Is it possible to color the picture? Choice of colours are mostly free as long as they are not to garish. A red or black beard beard and some kind of reddish colour to the 'power arm' are the only things I have in my head.
-Some shadowing to give the pic more depth(cut this one out if the pic is to much of a bother).
-Add a large Wrench in his left hand. (I thought hydrospanner first, but they look very boring).
BTW, the Wookie pic you did was a hit when we played![/img] |

Hey guys, after a brief respite, I'm back. And once again making pictures. I added some new stuff that I've been working on as well as repaired all the broken links on my index page (moved from photobucket to flickr).
The image that I'm the most proud of is my re-do of the character Valin Draco, the character from WotC's Dawn of Defiance campaign. I hated the original artwork and thought that the provided image was nothing like how the character is described in the flavor text. Working under the assumption that he's an ancestor of Antares Draco (from the Legacy comics) I used a slightly morphed version of his head to replaced the hook-nosed buffoon that made it into the actual adventure. _________________ "Don't you have to have mini-clorinies in your blood or something to be a jedi?"

Hehe, the original Valin Draco illustrations are all rather lame, the one you link to is one of the worst..
BTW, I use a version of Draco in my campaign. Hes more like a cross between a 40K Space Marine Commander and a SW Inquisitor, ie rather militaristic... |

Hey ZzaphodD, while I can't color the Dwarf picture (I'm learning about coloring but not very good at it), I did run across this pretty recently. It just screams "Space Dwarf" to me.
If you like it, I can do pretty much whatever you need to it (Throw a vibroaxe on his back, replace the gun with something a little more Star Wars-ey). Let me know. _________________ "Don't you have to have mini-clorinies in your blood or something to be a jedi?"

Ah, that seems like a good picture to work with. Hard to tell as Im not good at altering pictures.
More armour and armoured boots, then perhaps a large caliber firearm weapon instead. Hmm, I really dont know how hard it is to do this so please stop me if I get carried away.
Perhaps one could 'loan' inspiration from my picture above..I like my character scetches with a bit of humour.
Another pic I was thinking of for inspiration was this.
Perhaps its easier to work with the B/W pics and leave them as such. The original pic could just be made 'grittier' and more lifelike with better shading.. |

Here's a more armored version with a more impressive looking gun.

Make the barrel longer and with a larger caliber and the gun is perfect.
On the left eye make some kind of 'smart gun' link like this
I also think the beard should be fuller and longer.. |

Yeah, curse words get edited automatically.
Maybe the DC-17 anti armor attachment? Just a suggestion, that really goes BANG! |
