Even more...
22) does a wookiee berzerker rage effect the melee weapon damages?
23) does point blank range imidiately destroy something of a scale (for example, does a shooting a X-Wing with a hold out blaster from hlaf an inch away damage the engine)?
24) if a wookie slashes some wire with their claws does it count as making them an outcast?
25) is there a skill for inventing weapons and ships? (I've always played that it is an advanced skill to come up with the plans.)
26) can somebody teach themslf force skills?
27) can normal people create lightsabers?
28) Is there any way to create force skills?
29) do heavy people get any way to deal more damage from jumping or landing on their opponent?
30) Am I too imaginative? _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

#27 Can normal people make lightsabers.
In the Tapani Sector a group of nobles after the Jedi Purge found a box of light sabers. They pulled them out and started calling them selves the saberrakes. They also took apart the light sabers in an attempt to find out how to make more. Well the empire came in and took all the real light sabers, but rakes had managed to smuggle out copies of designes. These new weapons were less reliable (on a one of the wild die they would stop working and need to be repaired.), and less powerful, since the crystals in real light sabers are infused with the Force. They are called lightfoils and do 4d damage. |

The rules say that they only get the damage bonus for brawling. They would also suffer the -2D penalty for any melee combat skill checks.

No, I think you would just roll damage normally. I don't think there's any rule about weapons doing more damage at point-blank range.
Urhart the Fallen Angel wrote: | 24) if a wookie slashes some wire with their claws does it count as making them an outcast? |
I suppose it's up to your gamemaster, but I wouldn't think so. I think it would be ok as long as they don't use their claws in combat.
Urhart the Fallen Angel wrote: | 25) is there a skill for inventing weapons and ships? (I've always played that it is an advanced skill to come up with the plans.) |
No, I don't think there's any official skill for this. I agree that it would probably be an advanced skill.
Urhart the Fallen Angel wrote: | 26) can somebody teach themslf force skills? |
The Revised and Expanded book talks about Jedi PCs using Holocrons and/or datatapes, but their use is up to the gamemaster. Other than that, PCs need a teacher to train them in the force.
Urhart the Fallen Angel wrote: | 28 ) Is there any way to create force skills? |
You can always come up with custom "house rule" force skills for your campaign.
Urhart the Fallen Angel wrote: | 29) do heavy people get any way to deal more damage from jumping or landing on their opponent? |
No, but I suppose you could create a house rule for this if you really wanted to.

I can really only think of one thing to say here, and here it is.
I thank thee greatly and upon thine vast library of SWRPG information I bless you, for this is my only method of saying thanks in any simple form! _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

I think the reason that grenades and rocks are in the same skill is grenades and rocks (at least large heavy ones) are thrown in the same way I.E. you lob them to the target. |

Grenades and Rocks aren't the same skill though. If you threw a rock it would be "Thrown Weapons" |

In the book my MOG has rocks and grenades are thrown with the same skill.
Thrown weapon covers things that are thrown in a straight line to the target (such as spears and thrown knives) while grenade is for things that are thrown in parabola to get to the target (like great big rocks or grenades) |

The Star Wars Roleplaying Game Revised and Expanded book says "This skill covers throwing other objects like rocks and balls" under the grenade skill. _________________ "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." --Yoda

I think I know why it makes sense for grenades to be different than other things. It is becasuse if you throw a grenade, than you must hit the person with an explosian but if you thow a weapon, you mujst hit them with the weapon. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

Ahh... Going back through the archives (part 2!! )
Only answering some...
Quote: | 1) Can a sarkan hold weapons in their tails? |
If i knew what one was, i could answer... But gut would say no.
Quote: | 2) Can a non-nohgri learn nohgri martial arts? (I've always played that they can) |
Instinct would say, that they could, IF THEY could convince a Nohgri to teach them. THAT would be almost as difficult as convincing an imperial force hunter you are not the jedi he is looking for..
Quote: | 13) If you earn a force point by saving someone do you lose a dark side point? |
I have seen it done that instead of earning a bonus force point, the gm allows you to buy off one of your dark side points.
Quote: | 26) can somebody teach themslf force skills? |
From what i remember, a person can self learn a force power, if they have seen it in use. As for learning the skills, cont/sense/alter, those i would say no.
Quote: | 27) can normal people create lightsabers? |
I see no logical reason for them to not be able to. Though some of the novels do support only jedi making them (crystal star, I jedi).
Quote: | 29) do heavy people get any way to deal more damage from jumping or landing on their opponent? |
I would say no, but i could see an argument made for adding the 'crashing/falling' damage to the damage they inflict. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
