My apologies if it reads in too clunky of a fashion.

In last night's game the characters Skot (human bounty hunter) and Ramood (Duros NPC prospector, guide, and self taught archaeologist) are about to find themselves in combat inside of the hulk of a derelict Clone Wars ship crashed on the surface of a desert planet. Their other companion, Sodium the Rodian Fortune Seeker, has climbed atop the wreckage with macrobinoculars to look around the area. He sees a speeder coming with some Weequay and droids onboard. After warning his companions, they all hide.

A marooned former member of the Ohnaka gang and his cobbled together droid walk into the cavernous interior of the wrecked ship. They see where the characters hid their speeder when they heard the bandits coming. The Weequay says out loud, not really talking to the droid as much as himself "Wow, an old carryall 100. They really beat the hell out of this thing." His words are an accurate assessment of the dented beat up hauler, with its numerous dents, blast points, hasty repairs, and a missing headlight. He then looks down in the sand and sees footprints. Drawing his pistol he says "I know you're in here. Come on out in the open. I won't hurt you". Ramood (who is like a Duros version of Farnsworth from Futurama but not quite so feeble) comes out with his hands up. The pirate pushes a button on his droid controller. As the robot's eyes turn glowing red the pirate says "just kidding, kill him!"

The cobbled together droid is mostly super battle droid. It has none of its former weapons, but where its right hand would be a spinning hull cutting blade whirs to life instead. It lifts the blade over its head and charges. As it raises its blade and closes, Skot the bounty hunter pops up from his hiding place and fires at the droid. The blast nearly severs its left arm and it breaks stride, momentarily. The marooned pirate takes a shot at Skot. Hearing the confrontation, Sodium the Rodian fortune seeker slides down the hull and rounds the corner outside of the ship. He fires at the bandit. Seeing that he is outnumbered, the Weequay flees to warn his companions.

As the droid resumes it charge and almost reaches Ramood, Skot runs at the droid. He tackles it to the floor, narrowly avoiding its buzzsaw. As it tries to attack him with its saw, Skot holds its blade back only inches from his face. With both hands in a battle of wills and strength he pushes the saw blade into the droid's face. With a shower of sparks and deafening noise the droids red eyes go dark.

When leaving the scrapyard the characters were followed by an airspeeder that the pirates had modified. Armored plates were welded to its exterior, and the roof hatch on the starboard side (pilot and co pilot sit side by side) the copilot had a repeating blaster. Anyway it did strafing runs on them in their cargo sled (think of a speeder version of a 2-5 ton cargo truck). the characters returned fire with an ancient repeating blaster. I have stats for it here-

The cooling jacket on the blaster cracked and began to leak, so the characters repaired it hastily in combat with spacer tape and refilled it with some coolant out of a jug in the tool box. So now they have an ancient repeater with the cooling jacket wrapped in duct tape. Groovy.[/url]
