How many points for Griffindor?

Not until now did I know how much I want to run a Republic-era Jedi Academy game with Harry Potter trappings.

Our speculation four years ago was off on some things. I find the timeline being based on the year that TFA and TLJ take in to be annoying, but I guess it makes sense for a TRoS focused book that includes a recap of TFA/TLJ.

I can kind of understand setting the zero at "The Starkiller Incident" for the sake of a sequel book, but with so much happening BSI (which looks like "B.S." Incident), it feels unnecessarily cumbersome. A better "zero point" would have been Palpatine's declaration of the Galactic Empire and work back and forward from there.

My timeline's zero point is TPM. All the films, and everything else, after that are positive numbers.

And it is also the in-universe Empire's calendar in my SWU, based on Palpatine's ascension to leader of the galaxy. I've also added two years to between Episodes II and III, and one year after Episode III, so the Empire began in 15 and Alderaan was destroyed in 35. All the dates in the WEG SW Adventure Journal for in between Episodes IV and V are correct in my SSW calendar.

Since Palpatine was in TRoS, I agree with you that they should have made RotS the zero point for this timeline, then it wouldn't mostly all be negative.
