Idea Camophlage. The characters gain one die to sneak if they wear appropriate clothing/facepaints/etc. In a firefight the difficulty to hit them goes up one level because they're hard to see. This can be defeated with appropriate sensors (infared/battlefield radar/whatever), but how many people carry these in Star Wars? O.K., besides Boba Fett?

8) Weapon Damage Short Medium Long Ammo
Laser Carbine 3d+1 200 400 800 25

Cr. 800-1,000 Availability: rare

The Lazaveltian Civilian Hunting Laser has no flash or recoil and the beam is invisible to the naked eye. Instead of a power pack in the handle, it has a battery which is worn as a fanny pack connected by a cable. The battery pack has a solar cell which recharges at a rate of one shot per 4 hours of sunlight.

Lazavelt is not part of the Republic so it's energy systems are not compatable with Republic standards. It's damage and range ratings cannot be modified. All repairs cost double and take twice as long unless the weaponsmith has the archaic skill: laser repair.

While fighting on a space station the stormtrooper leader demanded that (the heavily outnumbered) players surrender because they had no escape. My soldier yelled "We will all die together! and threw a thermal detonator at them.

The stormtrooper's curse of "Suicidal Rebels!" was not heard over the other player's yelling "Are you crazy!?, You've killed us all!"

After the stormtroopers retreated behind a blast door, my soldier calmly walked up the hallway and put the pin back into the explosive. He said to the group "You do know these things have adjustable timers, don't you?"
Only the director and I knew that detonator had been permanently disabled.

Heh... a thermal detonator with a disabled detonator... nice... Very Happy

I don't think I've really created much custom equipment...

8) This grenade explodes with a burst of electromagnetic pulse. It is designed to destroy equipment but is harmless to life forms.

It has a damage rating of 7D/6D/5D and the same blast radius and throwing distance of a thermal detonator. Roll for wounds against equipment using the normal dice ratings of that equipment (armour=1D, blaster pistol =4D,electrobinoculars=3D,etc). Stun = equipment's electronics fail for 2 rounds. Wound or better = equipment's electronics fail permanently. It can be repaired with an electronics repair roll at 1/2 purchase cost, but it's easier to just buy a new one.

Lazaveltian equipment is (not surprisingly) fiber optic based and thus immune to EMP.

Cool... I can see the commercial for the Lazaveltian EMP Grenade... "Wondering how to get rid of those pesky little assassin droids? Well, we've got the answer!" Very Happy

Well... Not me, but...

The Ewok NPC (Former PC of my GM) has a Proton Torpedo Warhead that he's somehow rigged up with a grenade "Pull Pin" detonator.

Noone knows if the bloody thing will even work or not, but we're all scared that he'll finally get ticked off enough to use it!!!

And it's funny as all get go to have the Ewok intimidate the Bounty Hunter with an armed Thermal Detonator with it...

"Mines Bigger!!!"

Seeing as It is hard to come up with stats for guns and ships, I usually do Melee weapons, and thrown weapons.

The gunblade was fun.
The vibroblasterblade was even more fun.
Can't think of much else right now. Ragnar would love to get his hands on a Bherabidhan!

I just want to try it out. If I had one I don't think I'd want to keep it.

I think it's spelled Burabadan. It is a personal scale Madoradan. The Madoradan is vehicle, or walker scale and is capable of devastating buildings in a single shot. The Burabadan can slice buildings, vehicles and, oh yes, Madoradans too. I think the weapon is particle based.
