Once or twice, I think. For obvious reasons I try not to have toomuch of a scale difference in the combats, but it has worked out well for starfighter vs. captail ships.

I also used the vital strike:-2D skill for +1D damage idea from the rules upgrade. It makes it impractical (but possible) to damage a big ship with a starfighter's lasers, and encourages fighters to use massed misile weapons against big ships.

So far, so good.


When you have the chance try a little T-47 vs. AT-AT fight with this variant. 6D body vs 3D damnage is much tougher than 8D vs. 5D.

True it does.. and it also helps out making it easier to add up the dice.. less to worry about adding!
