Anyone ever seen rules for or made their own, to cover situations like PC's wanting to sky dive?

I've got some stuff for other RPGs (Bond, Delta Force, etc.).Most of it could be adapoted to Star Wars. What do you need?

The issue is addressed indirectly in RoE, with equipment that resembles parachutes used for covert insertion of SpecForce units. Those stats more closely resemble vehicles, but it might be a good place to start.

In Rules of Engagement, teams would be deployed from high altitude drops with para gliders with repulsorlift engines in them.

In one or two of my missions, I've had players have to HALO drop to avoid Imperial scanners. Using the para glider is a repulsorlift operations roll.

I know of the paraglider (heck in our ongoing sparks campaign, my character has even purchased a dozen or so for the rebellion as well as made 2 modules where they are in),.. but was looking more for other means...

I once made a Star Wars concept-crossover out of Starship Troopers (the novel, not the God-awful movie). The concept was a stormtrooper variant called a Shocktrooper. Shocktrooper units were developed as a potential counter to planets defended by planetary shields, but were versatile enough that they were used for a variety of other missions as well.

The shocktroopers were elite stormtroopers clad in power armor, and they were inserted via high-velocity orbital drop pods. The pods themselves were delivered via a Strike Cruiser variant, and the troopers also had the support of a modified Gamma assault shuttle that was used for extraction or support of logistics and reinforcement.

If you've read Starship Troopers, then you have a pretty good idea of how the unit operated. I had stats for the troopers, their armor, their drop pods, the Strike Cruiser and the Gamma-Class Shuttle, but I lost them when my hard drive crashed last year. If you're interested, I can remember most of the basic concept, so it wouldn't be too hard to regen something.

Saw some stats and write-ups a while ago. The guy used Dex: Freefall for freefalling, and Mech: parachute to operate the parachute and glide. He had different parachutes with their fall and glide rates.

I'd give you more detail but my other computer (with all my stuff) is down at the moment.

Zero-Gee related skills might also be a good equivalent for Freefall.

One of my goals with my Jedi is to do a naturalistic skydive from the stratopause. I would like to go from the mesopause but I'm not sure if that is possible.
